Reviews For Slave Child
And congrats on being a featured story Did you make up the history of the snitch? That was really well done! Author's Response: Thank you! No, I didn't make up the snitch history; I read about it on the HP Lexicon site, but I'm glad you liked it!
Aagin, sorry to nag and bug you. And also GREAT JOB on the story. Aswell as PP. THANKS! Author's Response: Hi, Nightshade, You aren't bothering me at all! I'm just not sure if I can answer your question without giving away spoilers for the story. I'm not entirely sure I understand your question...are you asking if Harry will kill Voldemort and immediately attempt suicide? Are you asking will Harry actually make a real attempt or instead will he slowly deteriorate until he's reached a dangerous point? As for the timeline...it's kind of hard for me to say how quickly things will happen because often I'll start writing and things will end up taking longer than I'd planned. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so happy you're enjoying it. I'm working on the next chapter now, so hopefully it'll be ready soon.
Author's Response: Ah, Draco...good question. At the very beginning, I did plan for Draco to be expelled, but I soon realised that I needed him at Hogwarts later in the story, so I changed my mind about that. What he did is a very serious offense, and he could be sent to Azkaban for it. But the situation is being kept quiet, not so much for Draco's sake right now as for Harry's. DD believes it could be dangerous for Voldemort to learn of the spell (Would it really? I don't know, but for plot reasons, I want the spell to be a secret for now so that's the reason I'm using). DD also knows that if Draco Malfoy were expelled from school and possibly put on trial, there would be publicity and questions, so he's decided not to go that route. Also, there is a little bit of him wanting to give Draco another chance and believing that he can be redeemed. For better or worse, that is one of DD's characteristics. Draco is not going to get off scot-free though. DD never told him he wouldn't be punished, only that he was thinking about what would be appropriate. Draco will be in the fic more later on, and he will come to understand what a horrible thing he did to Harry. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, you're right. Severus has realised that Harry is depressed, but he still doesn't really understand how devestated Harry truly is. He'll learn eventually, and be determined to help him, but not just yet.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really happy you're enjoying it. Thank you for your comments on Harry. I could see him being this way, and I'm glad you can, too. I'm working on the next chapter of my other story right now, but then I'll get back to SC.
Author's Response: Thank you, Kim! I couldn't do this without you and Kaity and Ivanova! I'm glad you like Severus; I enjoy writing him and Harry, and I'm so looking forward to the future, when Severus is really trying to make Harry happy.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Scorpia! Harry does need a hug, for sure. I don't know that Severus is ready for it yet, but Harry will get his share of hugs in the future, how about that?
So I'll say this now, update ASAP, PLEASE? Great story, I really enjoyed reading whay you have writeen so far. Author's Response: Thank you! Severus is really trying. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Author's Response: Having to see that he was wrong about Harry was a huge change for Severus, and he wants to begin making amends but it is hard for him at the same time. As for Harry, well, I don't want to give too much away, but he does spiral pretty far before Severus realises how dangerously depressed he is. But I do also love a happy ending. |
