    Oh dear lord! you actually expect us to be able to wait for another chapter after that!!! You've GOT to be kidding. That was so fantastic! please please update soon. My heart always feels frgile after reading chapters of this story and I never think it'll make it to the next one so please update before it gives out on me! Elle xx

    Oh, I'm sorry...I am working on it as fast as I can.  I've begun chapter 9, but it will still probably be a couple days before it's posted.  My sister-in-law's wedding is tomorrow and rehearsal dinner is tonight.  I'm hoping to finish the chapter tonight after the dinner, but if I don't, I know I'll be busy all day tomorrow and probably too worn out to write tomorrow night.  But I'm working on it as fast as I can, so tell your heart to hang on.

    Oh, and thanks a lot, btw!

    Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm really glad you're enjoying it!  Probably will be Sunday at the earliest before another update and maybe even later, but I'm working on it.

    Wow...I have been following this story since the beginning (and your other one as well!), and I have to say that this is probably the best chapter you have EVER written.

    I could actually almost feel the pain Harry was in but also the emotional pain that Snape was going through as well and only a true writer can do that. :)

    Great job! Truely amazing chapter!

    Oh, thank you!  That means a lot, because this chapter was hard to write, and really, I was dissatisfied with it, and afraid it would disappoint readers.  So I'm really glad you all have seemed to enjoy it!

    Your comments about being able to empathise with both Harry and Severus mean a lot, too, because that is what I'm trying to do...to show both viewpoints, and even if Severus is a jerk to Harry right now, to show that he does have the potential to be really great with Harry.  It's hard to do.

    Great chapter - and the way Sev found out what really happened was awesome. Can't wait for the next update - and to see how Sev handles his guilt, and how he acts with Harry!

    Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm working on it.  I admit I'm a little nervous about the next few chapters...it's a tricky point in the relationship between Severus and Harry, where they can begin to get to know one another, but not become too close too soon.  I'll just have to do my best, I suppose.  Thanks again!
