    Lovely fluffy chapter but going near the Minestry has never been a good thing for Harry!

    Don't worry about the lag time. . .the wait makes each new chapter you post even better!

    Loved the chapter-and you know that there is no such thing as "smooth sailing" for our boys--that shreiking wind surely implies troubles ahead.

    Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm going to try to have the next chapter up by this weekend.  No, we can't have smooth sailing, can we?  It just wouldn't make for a very interesting story.

    Of course the Ministry will try and make trouble but I am thinking that since you didn't mention a storm at all in the chapter but ended up with a "violent gust of wind shrieked in fury" that something painful will happen do to Harry and Severus verbally agreeing to make Harry his son.

    Omg! Kristeh, that "was" so warm and fuzzy, and definitely full of "squee-factor"!

    I loved the presents and the scene with the Weasleys was just so realistic; I could just imagine them all sitting around and the warm family atmosphere.

    I thought that that was really nice of Severus to give Ron and Ginny schoolbags.

    Oh, and I'm glad that Sev included Norie and Zan in the festivities; afterall, they are part of the family.

    I'm so pleased that Severus and |Harry are finally going to be Father and Son in the eyes of the law.

    That little bit about the gust of the wind, was so ominous and I'm so nervous about what is to happen.

    Great chappie as usual Kristeh. I can't wait for the next one.

    I love this story!

    I really like the way you write the relationship between Harry and Severus. It is slow going on both sides and very believable. Snape being glad that the slavery spell dictates that Harry lives with him is, to me, typical Snape. Although he wants Harry to be happy and not be a slave, it is easier to live by the rules of the spell than actually admit his feeling for Harry out loud.

    Love the way you dealt with Umbridge, Sev is right Azkaban was too good for her.

    At several points, my heart broke for both Harry and Snape. Harry writing letters to his friends, the talk they had after Harry's suicide attempt, it was heart-wrenching!
