Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Thank you, DP! Glad you liked it. Draco and Harry are really starting to be fun for me to write so I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I am waiting and reading to see if I am correct. I love this story. Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy you're enjoying it. The solution to the spell...well, we'll just have to wait and see. I hope the solution will be pleasing to everyone.
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, I don't want to answer you here, for spoiler reasons. If you really want to know the answers to your questions, let me know and I'll send you a PM.
Author's Response: Thank you, Kim! Yeah, Harry and Severus are very close by now and I love writing their scenes, too, so I'm really happy you enjoy them. I'm excited about the Yule Ball too.
Author's Response: Thank you! To be honest, I haven't decided for sure who Harry will take, precisely because I know some fans have strong feelings about ships. Personally, I don't. I can enjoy Harry with almost anyone, if it's well-written, but that also may be because I'm just not a strong romance fan and so I don't have strong feelings about any ship. We'll see...
Author's Response: Thank you!
Gr8.........wish u write more soon... Author's Response: Thank you!
As always, nicely done - looking forward to what happens next. Author's Response: Aw, thank you! I'm really enjoying your story too.
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, the emotional development of the characters has always been a main emphasis of the story, so I think the growing friendship between Harry and Draco has been important. It's been crucial to have them be alone at Prince Hall in these early stages, as I think it would have been harder for that to come about at Hogwarts, if they were surrounded by others. Going back to the ball is also a crucial part of the story. As for the slavery spell, it will be resolved in time.
I'm so glad Harry will get to go to the Yule Ball and spend some time our in the "real world." He needs to break his isolation and not forget that there's a wonderful world out there full of wonderful people (and girls like Severus said) that's waiting for Harry to experience and explore. He may currently technically be a slave (I still believe there'll find some way to free him soon) but he's really only a slave if he allows himself to feel like one, especially in Severus' eyes. I loved the fluffiness at the end. It shows just how far Harry and Sev have come in their relationship and how comfortable Harry is feeling with having Sev as his father. Author's Response: Thank you, Ella! Well, the slavery spell is always an underlying issue through the story. Sometimes it's more in the spotlight than at other times, but it is always in the background. Things will be resolved at some point, but not just yet. Yes, Harry really does need to get back out into the world, and if using polyjuice potion is what he needs to take the first steps, then Severus is willing to help him out there. And yes, Severus never regards Harry as a slave and he doesn't want Harry to see himself that way either, but he does recognize that it's difficult for him. And yeah, they've come a long way, haven't they? Looking forward to another chapter for you! |
