Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, Harry's great!
great Chapter! V. Author's Response: Thank you! Harry could certainly understand those feelings. There will be more of Draco's condition in the next chapter.
Harry is such a good kid; caring about Draco, and taking care of him. I'm dying to know what happened to Draco though. I really hope that he's going to be alright. I feel so bad for him. He's got no one. At least Harry has got Severus, and he still is so young. I hope that Draco can have someone like Severus to take care of him and love him too. I simply loved the conversation between Severus and Harry. Poor Harry being worried that he was being weak for not wanting to return to Halloween. I really hope that eventually things will all work out, and Harry can finally have a normal childhood. I love how Harry looked up to the sky and asked his parents and Sirius if they approved of his relationship with Severus. I really believe that they would be happy for Harry to have found someone so protective and caring to watch over their son. Halloween will always be a painful time for Harry, but maybe one day, when the spell is reversed, then Harry can handle the holiday better. Lovely chapter Kristen. I'm so so anxious for another one though, especially since Miss Kristeh has left us with a cliffie!!!! I'l forgive you if you update real quick!! Author's Response: Thank you, Pandora! It's always so rewarding to know what parts readers really liked or that meant a lot to them. Well, with all of my computer difficulties lately, I can't promise how quickly the next chapter will be up, but I'll do my best.
Author's Response: Thank you! Well, there will be more about Draco's condition in the next chapter. I'm happy that you're enjoying it.
I've not reviewed for quite a long time and my time's a bit low, but I just wanted to say that I really like this story and continue to do so. I hope that Draco and Harry can somehow reconsile (although I'm not sure if that's the right word as they've never been friends before), as I do like Draco and, for all he did, don't like to see him suffering. But then, a bit of a humbling experience should do his nature good. Thanks a lot, ai Author's Response: Thank you! I hope that one day Draco might look back and think it was all for the best.
Anyway, looking forward as always to the next chapter, I’m always going back to the start and rereading my favourite bits ^^ - definitely one of those fics that last ^-^ Have fun and stay safe, hope life’s treating you well ^^ Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind comments! I'm so happy that you are enjoying SC. Hmm, writing the mini-art essay was kind of fun...but only because it was part of the story. I might not enjoy it as much if I had to write it for real. Poor Draco; he's never going to live that ferret thing down, is he, lol?
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! Harry is a wonderful person, isn't he? I obviously love him, lol, and I'm so happy that you're enjoying the story still.
V. Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so happy that you agree about Harry, and maybe Draco is slowly having his eyes opened.
Author's Response: Thank you! Although Harry can recognize the differences in their situation, especially now that Severus pointed it out to him, I imagine he could still see some similarities and I just can't see Harry picking on someone, even Draco.
I'm so pleased that Harry was able to visit with his friends, both at Hogwarts and at home. The tact that Severus is using in teaching Draco some humility, is brilliant. I love the little lesson, using Leonardo DaVinci's painting, "The Mona Lisa" as an example of how a Muggle can be brilliant. Draco's reaction was precious too, when he realised that a Muggle painted such a intricate work of art. I could just picture his expression too, when Severus showed him all the other works of arts by the talented artists that all happen to be Muggle. Harry is such a unselfish, kind boy isn't he? After all that Draco has put him through, he can still put his own feelings aside and rise above the inclination to taunt and take revenge against Draco; going so far as to prevent Ron from doing so. That's classic Harry Kristeh, and you've captured his personality to a "T". I'm so pleased that Harry's other friends, and classmates from school have been so supportive. I can't believe that they all signed the letter, encouraging Harry to come back. I really hope that he reconsiders, after things calm down a bit. I think that this is a really good lesson though; both for Draco and for Harry. It's sad that it takes a tragedy such as this though for Harry to learn how many people care for him, and would stand by him, but it must warm Harry's heart nevertheless. Well...what can I say Kristeh. You've written another wonderful chapter, that's left me yearning for more!! Please update soon. I can't stand the suspense. Author's Response: Thank you so much, Pandora! You write wonderful reviews with so much detail and I really appreciate it. I'm happy you like Severus' approach to teaching Draco. As for Harry...well, you know how I love him, lol. Well, the letter wasn't all the kids in the school, but it was all Gryffindor House and the DA. I figure Harry probably is pretty well-liked by most of the other students...for sparing them from Voldemort and war, even if they don't know him personally. I think that there would be a feeling of wanting to rally around one of their own with the Gryffindors, and of course the DA kids would be on Harry's side, I think. Thank you again! And I'm looking forward to your next chapter, too, for both stories! |
