    Dun dun DUNNNN! Nice ending to the chapter!!! I really like where you have taken the story in the last couple of chapters. I thought it would take longer before Draco and Harry confronted each other, though. Can hardly wait to hear what excuse Draco has for this.... Also, thank you thank you THANK YOU for making it clear that Harry is still Severus' priority - that he cares about Draco and is concerned under the rage - but Harry is still his son. So often when Draco enters the story BAM suddenly Severus has 2 kids and then they're OH LOOK INSTANT BROTHERS HAPPY EVER AFTER - yeah rite!!! So I really like what you've been doing here.

    Author's Response: Thank you!  No, I don't want to go that route, though there are some really excellent stories that do.  I mean no slight to them, but I want Harry to have his father to himself in Slave Child.  Though Severus may still play a role in Draco's life, it won't be as a father.  I have something else in mind for all of them...

    Oh, I love this fic and your other fics and your writing style and the gorgeous way you depict Harry and Severus but... do you really have to leave it at such horrible cliff-hangery-like moments?! It's mean... *stomps foot*... besides that though I really do love this fic, it's mostly because of your fics and others like it that I finally signed up in the first place, so thanks - especially for chapter 24 in which you showed just how brilliantly you write - and think - and through which I'm sure I wasnt the only person who found solace during a bad time, so really, thank you ^-^

    Cant wait to read more... never can, its just that now I get to say so hehe ^-^

    Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much!  I really appreciate your kind comments.  I really loved writing Chapter 24, and if it helped you I'm so very grateful.  Sorry about the cliffies...I hate them when I'm reading, lol...but I just stop when it seems like a good stopping point, and it gives you something to look forward to, doesn't it?  Thanks again!

    Eeek!Poor Harry, that must have been quite a shock for him to find Draco in his room like that lol, I wonder how Severus will be reacting to that :)

    Awesome Chapter - the end was tooooooo much - can't wait to see what happens. Hope there are many many many more chapters in this story!!

    Author's Response: Thank you!  I'm not sure how many chapters there will end up being, but there are still things to happen and that I want to explore, and I'm playing around with ideas for a sequel to see if I can come up with enough for whole story, so you may see lots more of the SC world.  Thanks so much.  I really appreciate it.

    Whoa my heart just stopped when I reached that last line. The quick pace at the end of this chapter was very well done. Excellent.

    Great!!! I wonder why Draco feels like he must always be so naughty!!! Or did he know that was Harry's room? Was that room once Draco's? What is going to happen now? I hope Harry doesn't lose it completely.

    I also hope Harry comes to realize he is still a good catch, slavery spell or not!

    Author's Response: Thank you!  Well, I don't want to spoil the next chapter, so I'll keep quiet about Draco's motivations for the moment.  Yeah, Harry's pretty close to losing it, in one way or another.  And yep, the time will come when Harry and Severus talk about girls, dating, and Harry's future.  I'm thinking some kind of holiday festival, perhaps a Yule Ball, or just a Christmas party or some such occasion when Harry might need a date would be a good way to bring all that to Severus' attention.  Thanks again!

    Oh Kristeh, that was great. as usual.

    I feel so bad for Harry, but I'm glad that he has Severus looking out for him, and that Severus will always do what's best for Harry, no matter what. He really has grown and changed, hasn't he? The old Snape wouldn't care if Harry were happy or not, nor would he unselfishly put aside his own happiness for that of Harry Potter. But now, they are father and son, and I love the warmth and trust that they've developed.


    I've had the warm fuzzies, until Harry saw Draco standing in the doorway, now I'm worried over Harry's mental state!

    Ooh, I can't wait for the next chappie. I hope that they can all co-exist in the same house, without going crazy or killing each other!!!

    Thank you, Pandora!  I have had a wonderful time exploring Harry and Severus' relationship, how it has grown and getting them to this point.

    Yeah, Harry is not at all pleased about Draco being in his room, and he is pretty close to his breaking point.
