    Excellent, as always. I always get excited when I see a new chapter of this story. I don't think Severus is likely to let the whole abuse/neglect thing go. He has grown quite protective of Harry, hasn't he!

    Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much!  And Severus is very protective of Harry now.  I really do think Severus could have been a wonderful protective caretaker, if he had ever let himself get beyond his bitterness.  Severus seems like the kind of person who wants to be needed, to me.  He has so much potential...it's fun to help him realize it, lol.

    If there weren't so many plot lines you could continue, this would be the perfect place to stop your story. Boy am I glad you didn't think of that!!!!

    Author's Response: Thank you so much!  And yes, there's more.  I'm going to try to update "HP and the Potions Professor" next, I think.  I told one of my readers that I'd try to before the end of the month and I'm pushing it, lol.  But then I'm getting right back to SC  (I think I've fallen more in love with SC, to be truthful!).

    Nice chapter! Question though, what's with, 'for a little while'? was that a hint for something? Just wondering. Again GREAT job!

    Author's Response: Thank you!  Glad you liked it.  As for the 'little while' line, yes, there will be some more trouble before the story is over, plus just that Harry is still recovering from all his emotional wounds...the loss of Sirius and his feelings of guilt over that, the slavery spell.  It really hasn't been that much time, and Harry's been hurt very deeply.  It will take some time for him to recover.  He's better, definitely, than he was earlier, but he's still hurting, too.  He's just begun to heal.  Thanks again!

    Aww! I blimmin love a good ole Harry and Severus hugging session! I think I could read a whole chapter where they do nothing but hug and be cute lol when Harry mentioned not being suicidal enough to take a skiving snackbox in potions class the way Severus reacted and what he said was just lovely, I really missed seeing new chapters over the last couple of weeks, im glad you had some time to update : )

    LOL!  I know what you mean...I love it when Harry and Severus are close.  Glad you liked how they handled the mention of suicide.  I wasn't sure about that bit, but I thought Severus would be keeping a close watch over him, and would want to keep the lines of communication open, to know how Harry's feeling and to remind him that he can come to Severus now.  So when the line came up, Severus saw a way to speak with Harry, but indirectly so it would be a little more comfortable for him. 

    Yeah, my life is really busy right now, but I really love this story and writing it.  I'm glad you're enjoying it, too!
