Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Lol, yes, Draco is acting mysteriously, isn't he? Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you for all the kind reviews! I really appreciate it!
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved writing those scenes too.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. I do remember that chapter being very difficult to write.
I occurs to me, Snape is being really great, and I don't want to take away from that. However, Harry is being really great also. He is not being petulant or resentful towards Snape, not even in his private thoughts. Both of them deserve major props. :) :) Author's Response: Thanks again. Yes, Harry is being very open to seeing Severus in a new light, too. Perhaps its a bit OOC, but I think the slavery spell and everything that has happened since has had a big effect on Harry and he's feeling very insecure and unsure of things right now.
He blinked several times and swallowed before looking up at Severus, meeting his eyes for the first time in days. "Thank you." Severus had had doubts about returning the cloak...in the past, he had highly disapproved of the way Harry had used it to sneak about, and he had fully intended to lecture and warn the boy about using it wisely. But somehow, looking down into Harry's shining eyes, he couldn't bring himself to ruin the moment. He could save the lecture for later, he supposed. Instead he replied softly, "You're welcome." Author's Response: Oh, thank you! It's nice to have a new reader again.
Author's Response: Oh, I LOVE Highclere Castle! I fell in love with it way back in the 1980's when it was Misselthwaite Manor in Hallmark's "The Secret Garden". I'd watch Downton Abbey even if I didn't like the plot (which I do) just to see Highclere, lol! And though Alnwick Castle is lovely, to me, Glamis Castle in Scotland is the PERFECT Hogwarts, and its how I picture Hogwarts in my own mind.
Author's Response: Yes, slowly but surely. Many people have a difficult time admitting that they were in the wrong, and Severus even more so than most, but he's getting there.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you're enjoying it. |
