Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Thanks, Scorpia!
UPDATEEE nOW Author's Response: Thanks! I'll try to soon!
Author's Response: Thank you! I said it before, the 'Wronski book' scene was my favourite part of the chapter, because it was something that Severus did purely for Harry's enjoyment, and it is a clue that Severus will not revert back to his old ways once they're back at school, if Harry picked up on that. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you, and yes, I think it is rather hard for Harry to start thinking of Severus by his first name after five years of thinking of him as 'Snape'. It's also a big sign that they're becoming closer and Harry isn't sure he's ready for them to be that close, but he's making an effort, and it's getting a little easier for him.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll try to update again soon.
is harry still going to feel suicidal now that snape is treating him so much better? Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Harry is still suicidal right now. He is happier than he was at first, but part of that is because he's built up this idea that he'll be able to go be with his parents and Sirius and then everything will be perfect, and until then he just has to make the best of things. He isn't consciously thinking, "Oh, I'm happier now so I should reconsider the whole suicide thing." He's just going along until he can be with his 'real' family again. The idea that he's going to get to be with his family and be free again, hopefully soon, is very ingrained at this point and it's really part of what is helping him to feel better. He doesn't really have to think about the slavery spell and the impact it's going to have on his whole life as long as he's convinced himself that it's only a temporary situation. I realised that may seem to contradict what I said in an earlier response, when I said that the slavery spell is never far from Harry's mind, but what I mean is that Harry hasn't forgotten about the slavery spell, but he's not really having to deal with it because he's decided that he's going to escape it through death and be with his loved ones as soon as possible. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! Oops, you're right about the eye colour. I need to go back and fix that. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! I wonder if Sev and Harry will listen to your advice, Hmmm?
I really enjoyed their shopping excursion and Harry finally really being treated special for his birthday. Hey, can I find those magically altering clothes somewhere for my kids! That was a brilliant invention. You're writing on the next chapter as I type this, right? Right? Author's Response: Thank you, Cathy! Well, if causing destruction, attempted murder, and general mayhem is your idea of acceptable birthday party activities, why then Voldie's just come to join in the fun, lol. I need the magically altering clothes for my kids too. If only... Well, I'm not writing yet, but I will in another day or so. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you! I really, really hate cliffies, too, when I'm the reader. I guess I'm a hypocrite *sigh*. I'll try to update again soon though! |
