Well, that was a very nice, calm, peaceful chapter...until you brought Voldemort along! Sheesh, Kristeh. That was crazy unexpected. Did Voldemort know Harry was going to be there? How could he? Oh boy, this is so exciting. Can't wait to see what happens next! Oh, and loved that part with Severus gazing at the spot where Harry had touched in on the arm. Made my gut lurch. Well done.
Author's Response: Thank you! Nope, Voldemort didn't know Harry was there. As far as he knows, Harry's still ensconced at Privet Drive. I really enjoyed writing the part where Harry touched Severus' arm, too. Another little step... Thanks again!

oh man! i just got back off of holiday to find 2 new chapters and i was all excited cause this is one of my fave reads and now the cliffe? that really is mean! i love the way harry and sev are starting to bond, the whole gradual process is so cute and realistic that they didnt just become soppy at the start, even though i wanted sev to hug him after his nightmare! seriously looking forward to more and hoping harry and sev escape unhurt!
Author's Response: Thank you! Sorry about the cliffie, but it was just a good stopping point for that chapter. I'll try to get the next one written soon, how about that? I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I just love Harry and Severus.

The "Wronski book" scene was very touching. It's interesting that Harry asked if he had permission to play and Severus gave it -- underlines the slave relationship that they have even though they do not discuss it much.
Author's Response: Ha, you'll never take me alive! Lol, actually I'm pretty easy to find, I suppose. But no worries...I will work on the next chapter soon. I'm so glad you liked the Wronski book scene...that was my favourite part of the chapter. And no, they don't discuss the slavery relationship often, but it's never far from Harry's mind, at least. They will have to talk about it more in the future for Harry to start the healing process, though.
ahh kristeh!!! lol great chapter! Oh no they just ran out of poly juice! They better go hide in the book store imo like in a closet somewhere

Author's Response: Thank you! I'll work on chapter 20 next week, and yes, Voldie's attacking Diagon Alley on Harry's birthday is a symbolic move. He had no way of knowing that Harry would actually be there.

Love this chapter also but I want to see more Severus Harry affection you know like Snape patting Harry's head or ruffling his hair and stuff, more dad stuff. I like how Harry wants to trust Snape but isnt sure. I hope that he confides in him soon though. Please continue updating!
Author's Response: Oh, Mahi, I love the scenes where Severus and Harry are affectionate with each other. There will be a lot of that, I promise. But I don't think Severus is ready yet. He cares for Harry, a lot, but he's never had anyone be very demonstrative with him and right now he feels uncomfortable with that, plus he knows Harry doesn't really trust him yet and he's trying not to do anything that would make Harry uncomfortable. But Severus will open up more as the story goes along.
