This is looking awfully bad for Sirius! I thought we could trust him!

Author's Response: Never trust anyone, that's OE's creed.  :oP

Oh! You she devil! I could almost HEAR the ominous music play when Sirius left with Harry. Not that I entirely suspect Sirius of wrong-doing, but that he is being tricked into taking Harry to people who are dying to do him harm.

Severus is going to become unglued!
OMG! The angst lover in me is shivering over the events that might be coming, and I'm in total glee right now. You'd better be typing on that next chapter, lady! (pretty please with sugar on top?)

Author's Response: LOL  Poor Sirius....or not....  And no, Severus will not react well to this at all.  You're sick, Cathy, you know that, right?  Glee for such happenings...when Harry could be on death's doorstep?  *shakes head*

Dang it Harry, why can't you ever do what Severus asks? Why do you have to be a stupid teenager? Oh, this chapter made me really want to curse Sirius! Oh wait, I bet he's already cursed. I wish Severus had shown Harry the memory of the nasty way Sirius treated Severus...breaking his nose and calling him names. Way to get me all fired up right before bed, Tabitha:) I hope we get the next chapter soon.

Author's Response: Well, Harry thinks he knows Sirius better than Severus knows Lucius and Simon....and honestly, Sirius did try to do what Severus asked.  Or at least Sirius said as much.  LOL  Sorry to fire you up, though not really of course!  I'm gla dyou enjoyed it.  I'll try to be quick!  Thanks for the review.

The mutt is an idiot. Either he is Impri (however you spell that spell) or he is a bloody idiot (and I love Sirius in the books - but he was an idiot in the books too).

Poor Harry, I see hard things ahead (plus groundation for life from his dad)

Author's Response: ROFL  Groundation for life.  Hee hee.

Oh no! No, no, no! What a mean author you are Tabitha, giving us a cliffie! And here I was, all buttered up from the baby scene too...lol.

I really liked the baby scene, naturally. It was cute how Harry was reaching out to grab the candle flame, but Sev was too far back to allow it. It kind of made me sad to think about their Christmas though because Sev wouldn't get to spend that much time with Harry if Remus and Sirius were around during the holiday season.

I enjoyed the punch from Sirius as well. You really surprised me with that one. I thought perhaps Sirius would actually try and negotiate something, but instead was increasingly nasty. I'm really disliking your Sirius now, which is sad because I want things to work out between him and Harry so badly. Even if something doesn't happen to Harry, I think Harry's trust in Sirius will go downhill quickly from here.

Honestly, I'm not too terribly worried about Harry because I feel like he could probably protect himself if need be, though I'd hate to have him convinced that Sev is wrong at this point.

I love how ecstatic Harry was about the tree though and I loved James' off-center ornament. Please update a.s.a.p. though--I need to know what happens!

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

LOL  Glad you liked the baby scene, at least.  :o)  And I'm happy you picked up on the melacholy feel of it all...with Sirius and Remus around, it would be difficult to be a family.  :o(

Sirius really loathes Severus, even more than he ever has, I think.  He basically usurped his place with Harry, and I don't think there's really a way for either of them to be truly okay with one another, even if Harry and Sirius are okay.

LOL  James' ornament was fun.  I'll update soon, I hope, if my muses will cooperate.  :o)

Oi. I was glued to my screen.

*hem hem* Let's see if my review can do this chapter justice.

Well, first of all, the image of Harry shuffling out with wild hair and eavesdropping was really adorable, even if, well, you didn't mean it to be... :-) You know me and my love for crazy-haired, sleepy Harry...

    Anyway...

I love the subtleness of Dawn's creepiness...like her slow smiles. It really makes us all skeptical of her intentions right along with Harry. And I loved Sirius in this chapter. You wrote him perfectly. And I won't say anything further except *Wahhhh...sobs*

Harry'd better get out of his funk and help Severus decorate the tree!! I'll be crushed. Though he really does have reason to be irritated. It's sad how he's faced reality and Severus hasn't...or at least doesn't want to. This chapter had a...forest-green aura about it. Like...calm, but tense...and pleasantly dark. Don't ask. You already know I'm a weirdo. LOL.

Severus and Sirius really do need to have a chat. And I can't wait to read it.

I adore your Remus. Have I ever told you? Muy perfecto.

Oooh, why do I have the feeling that Harry is going to disobey Severus, and end up in a pickle!

Poor Harry he must be frustrated though. All he wanted was a normal life, and he's still not getting it!

Amazing as usual my Dear. Now hurry up and get workiing on the next one, (pretty please with sugar on top!) I'm dyting to see what happens next.

Author's Response: LOL  Harry is a tricky one...  And nope, Harry won't have a normal life for awhile yet.  I'm already working on the next chapter.  Glad you liked it!

Enjoyable chapter, always like the ones where there is a bit of angst. Harry and Severus's feelings are both understandable, teenagers hate being coralled and parents find it hard to not over protect. Look forward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I'm glad you liked it.  Harry and Severus have a rocky road ahead of them.  :o)

Another great chapter! It seems that there might still be some tension between Sirius and the others, unfortunately. I hope they can figure out what Simon is up to soon. And I love how Severus is so perceptive about the Dursleys and Harry's feelings.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks Kristeh!  There is lots of tension to be found unfortunately.  I'm glad you liked the chapter though.  Thanks for reviewing.

Oh that was great! I especially like the part where Sev plunked the pillow away from Harry's head! Too funny!

Now you've got me worried that Harry will be taken away from Severus. Monday young lady, and snap to it! I can't wait till then!

I love the way you write the banter between Harry and Severus, sweet, funny and incrediblity realistic.

    Author's Response:

That pillow part was fun, eh?  I'm glad you liked it.

Well, it wouldn't be LC without some drama, you know.  What fun would it be if there was no threat to Harry and he was just happy and healthy?  :oP

Thank for the compliment.  Just glad you enjoyed it.
