    I think Simon Bavistock is ascending to the position of the new Dark Lord, specifically where Harry is concerned. WHY does he want control over Harry, or at least over the person that has charge of Harry?

    Harry must feel a bit like an rubber band. He is being stretched so thin between Sirius and Severus, with poor Remus also having to go to bat for the two of them.

    The earlier scene where ron spent the night in the dungeons was so nice. Severus is a good dad. He even made sure that Ron ate before he left for classes.

    Not sure what is going on with Remus and Tonks, but for a man who should be ecstatic because of his changed circumstances, he is really quite miserable. Does the fact that only three people have definitive proof that Remus is a werewolf mean that in LC's world, there is no Werewolf Registry within the MoM? I always found it a bit of a silly idea anyway. If a registry had been in existence when Remus was at Hogwarts, then heaps of people would have known that Remus was there and being taught amongst their children. surely a WW would have to register as soon as he/she is bitten, or at least, after the first transformation.

    As sad as it is to say, Sirius' reappearance in the land of the living is certainly causing an awful lot of problems and heart searching. When will sev and Harry be able to live a normal life, I wonder? And are Sev and Sirius ever going to be on the same page?

    Things are getting pretty hairy again, Tab, but very thought provoking.

    Can't wait till Monday (or Tuesday here).

    Les~

    Author's Response:

    Simon is up to no good, that's all I'll tell you.  Hee hee.

    I'm glad you liked the scene with Ron.  That was just a fun tidbit to put in there.  Harry is finally getting to be a normal kid, at least in between Simon's plotting. LOL

    No werewolf registry here, or at least Remus never put his name on it.  Why would a werewolf register?  They would have to be suicidal to announce something like that.

    Sirius' reappearance is causing a lot of trouble.  It caused a lot of good too though, as his words were the catalyst to help Harry and Severus bust through a lot of their tension.  Sev and Sirius on the same page?  Doesn't seem so likely, I'm afraid.  :o(

    LOL  Well, Les, it wouldn't be LC without a little bit of hair.  :oP

    Well, well, well...things aren't quickly back to normal between Remus and Tonks. The interaction and dialogue between Remus and Sirius has certainly made me raise an eyebrow. Poor Sirius; back wandering that house with nothing productive to do.

    My pity only goes so far, because I'm not sure exactly what his agenda is with regards to Harry. I know he wants to keep Harry safe and sound, but I'm not sure he feels that ultimately is with Severus. What a thought provoking conversation.

    Ooooh....I don't like this Simon character one bit.

    And who would have thought Ron would be having conversations where he sided with Severus against Harry. Woo hoo! Go Ron!

    I've never given Ron the hug in a chapter. I think he just earned his first one!

    Author's Response:

    Poor Sirius, indeed.  Or maybe not...

    I'm glad you enjoyed the conversation between all the men.  It was a fun one.

    Simon is a tricky fellow, it's true.  But hey, we need a villain, after all.

    Yay!  Ron gets a hug.  He's really taken to Severus.  LOL  :o)

    Aww another great chapter. I'm definitely very curious about Draco and what Sara will have to say about it. I also love the way Harry and Sirius are slowly starting to patch things back up, and I can't wait to hear what happened between Tonks and Remus! Ahh- good stuff!

    I loved this chapter, but wait Harry's moving back to the Tower? Does he know this or is it Severus thinking he needs to provide Harry with a normal childhood type thing?

    Good chapter, enjoyed Harry and Sirius and their slightly awkward reunion.
    Yes Draco cannot be trusted as far as you can throw him so watch out Harry!
    And why do I feel everything is going too smoothly and trouble is lurking round the corner?
    Happy Aniversary for LC and thank you

    Okay, Ron asked the question that was burning in my mind regarding Draco:

    “Has someone confunded you, Malfoy?”

    Seriously, I wanted to slap Draco silly! Yup, it's all too clear he wants something, so keep your eye on him, Harry.

    I'm glad Harry and Sirius made some headway into patching things up between them. But I felt so sorry for Severus feeling so left out, and not knowing about the mirror.

    As always, you write Severus' and Harry's banter SO well! "Enjoy your detention...." made me almost snort coffee out my nose. What were those mysterious comments about Christmas anyway?

    Huh, so Sirius quit the training. Wonder what the heck he'll do now.

    There were actually two more times I my heart hurt for Severus. The second time was when he walked back to the castle for the meeting with Dumbledore, with "the feeling an unwelcome realization that he couldn’t hold onto him forever." That coupled with the last sentence, "It would be a bitter pill indeed when Harry finally moved back into the tower." He still isn't really 100% confident he will never lose Harry, is he?

    For that alone, Severus gets my hug for the chapter whether he wants it or not!

    Happy Anniversary, LC...and thanks a gazillion, OE, for blessing us with this marvelous story. Us fans still can't get enough of it!

    and draco.i think something wrong.if draco date sara why he around ginny not sara.i hope harry and ginny never break up.i don't like they break up and cheat on stories.

    Author's Response: Don't worry, Harry and Ginny won't be cheating on each other in this story.  Draco is just trying to be nice to Ginny so that Harry will be his friend, since he needs Harry's help.  Thanks so much for the review.  I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.  :o)

    I think that I'm the first to review this chapter you sneaky girl. I waited and waited and waited last night, but finally at 11:30 my time, I had to go to bed! :( 5:20 AM comes pretty damn early!

    Ok, so of course you know I love it! I am so pleased that Sirius and Harry have made up.

    Hey, I have a question. Severus seemed pretty tough on the students in class. Has he gotten over his aversion to discipline Harry, or will Harry get special treatment in class, or is that only for outside of class. Ok, it's early still, and I'm rambling and not making sense. It's just that Snape still seemed easier on Ron and Harry, then the others.

    I was glad to see that
    Snape hadn't totally lost his nastiness to the other Gryffs though. I like a nasty Sev! ;) Or should I say adorably grumpy! ;)

    Oh, and btw, I love the name of the chapter. "Draco's Imaginary Friend!" Too funny! ;)

    Can't wait for the next chappie!

    Author's Response: Sorry!  I really tried but I didn't quite make my deadline.  :o(  No, Severus is definitely not going to do any disclplining of Harry in class.  If you note, he did tell Harry to focus on his potion, but in an innocuous way.  Severus, no matter that he is 'adorably grumpy' is not ever going to publicly lecture, or whatnot, Harry in front of the class.  And with Ron, I'm glad you noted that.  I know some might cry foul for giving Harry special treatment (well, not berating him), but no matter whatever else Harry is--he's Severus' son first.  He did take points while Harry had a big, giant head.  :oP  I did that bit to show that Severus has changed where Harry is concerned, and that includes his friends.  It's been coming on for awhile now though.  Being agreeable to Remus, and he's been agreeable to Ron for a long time now.  Thanks!  I had fun with that chapter title.  LOL  :o)

    Oh, you are going to kill me with all of these surprises, you know that don't you?
    What are Harry and Sirius going to do? I know that Harry wanted to talk or at least clear the air with Sirius, but it's one thing to want to do something and quite another to actually do it. Especially when you weren't expecting to have to do it for a long time. If that makes any sense. ;-}

    I loved how Harry now looks (at least a little bit) more like Sev.

    I really loved the whole "love potion bit". I always love seeing Severus being more paternal and parental about Harry. ;-}
    I loved Ginny's reaction to Sev finding out about the potion. ;-}

    The other part I liked was "Miriam the Autograph Witch". I was laughing so hard I was almost crying.

    Again, superb job. This is truly an incredible story.

    Leilia
