    Aww excellent! I wonder where Harry's going. The entire idea of the box and all the letters is so realistic and great. I love the way Snape and Hedwig have reached an understanding! Excellent update!

    Wonderful chapter. I've been reading it since you started last year with Lily's Charm, but I just finally started on account here. I am looking foward to the surprise in the next chapter.

    Lovely warm father and son moments. Slight worries in the background about Simon and Scrimgeour but they won't spoil the holiday will they? But definately bear watching!

    (And I want to know just where the heck they are going too, darn it!)

    I thought a certain hawk was going to get turned into a roast chicken by Severus. And the contents of those letters...what a hoot! (There's a pic there of Harry with the female Quidditch team....I can just see it in my brain!)

    I'm not certain Harry's headaches are gone for good. Hmmm....(wondering if fixing the glasses' prescription was a red herring).

    My favorite part was the end with the hug, and Severus feeling so pleased with himself about how well the holiday was going.

    I don't have to give a hug. Severus got it already from Harry!

    I'm glad you liked Harry's spontaneous hug.  That little chat last chapter did wonders for them, didn't it?  :o)

    Oh Tabitha, I really wish I had your talent with words, then I could express to you how much your stories move me emotionally.

    Alas, I don't have your flare for the written word; so I'll just tell you how much I look forward to updates, and how I feel like I know Sev and Harry intimately. That is an indication of just how well-detailed your character descriptions are.

    I must tell you that when "Gift" ends, I am going to feel like I have lost my best friends. You know what that means don't you? You will just have to write a sequel, or triquel? Is the even such a word? Oh, duh, trilogy! Hee hee!

    Thanks PandoraSilk (it's your  new name...I've just thought of it...LOL).  Actually, I do have a sequel to his in mind already...I have for months now.  I always intended this story to be a trilogy.  I even have the name all picked out.  But don't worry anyway, this story will be much longer than LC was.  We haven't even gotten to the real plot yet.  LOL 

    I'm so glad you enjoy the story so much.  Makes me happy, it  does!  Thanks for another great review.  :o)

    Well Dang!!! Where are they going? I laughed out loud when i read 'do wizards allow bigamy? For you, they would probably make an exception'...so funny.

    I loved seeing Sev's protective instincts come to the fore like they did. What a great dad.

    Simon Bavistock needs blowing up...I'd be happy to do it. Arrrgh!!! I hate that man. There could be nothing more come of that little suggestion to Scrimgeour, surely. The man must have been the DL's lawyer...he is so slick he leaves a greasemark.

    Great chapter as usual Tab. you put me to shame.
