Awesome chapter. When I was reading through and got to the fishing part. I immediately thought of Tom. I liked how you added that in there.

Author's Response: I had just finished reading a magazine article about Tom Felton in regards to HBP the movie and I thought it was very cool that he had such an ordinary hobby and felt it would fit nicely in with my story, so I had Draco take up fishing.

That was great. How typical of the Draco to assume the older brother role. I understand Harry's reaction. My sister is only 1 year older than me (and now we are in our 60s) yet she never lets me forget that she is older and wiser (yeah, right).

Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean, since I'm the baby in my family and ALL my sisters never let me forget it. Or my brother.  "I remember when you . . ." is a typical opening line at any family get together and they have an unfair advantage since I wasn't born or old enough to remember anything embarrassing THEY did.  I figured Draco would make a better older brother than a younger one.

Amazing! So very very beautifully done! I almost cried along with Draco. I'm so glad they're a real family now. The dynamics between them are perfect.

Author's Response: Thank you, I enjoyed writing this chapter very much after the angst and tension of the last one!

i loved that chapter! i think draco calling severus dad is soo cute, another step joining their lovely little family :)

Author's Response: Yeah, he was bound to start calling him that someday, and it felt right at this point, seeing as Lucius basically disowned him and he would be looking for Sev to fill the void.  Plus, Harry won't be jealous any more, now that he regards Draco as family, and not just a rival for Snape's affection.

Very touching. I like their banter/bickering. Well done. Can they both be the heir? Hope it doesn't cause jealousy just when they're getting along so well.

Author's Response: No there can only be one heir, and the manor chooses, you'll find out more about it next chapter.  It shouldn't cause jealousy between them though, since it's not something you can compete over, it just happens.

Yay! A new update! I felt so bad for Draco. His mother ought to be drowned and dumped in the river for saying such God awful things about her son. Evil hag!

Good thing he's got Sev & Harry to be there for him. I loved the way Sev and Harry were talking in the kitchen and the part about Sev threatening to tan Harry's backside with a spoon. Priceless!

The part with Draco fishing and Harry saying he could call Sev Dad was brilliant! I've been waiting for that one! Now they're a real family! Loved when they gave Sev Phantom too!

When's Draco gonna give Hermione her owl?

Can't wait to see who's the heir! Update soon!

Author's Response: You'll see when Draco sends Hermione her owl.  Glad you liked this whole chapter!

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! The Malfoys got put away, yes! *touchdown!* And Draci showed them all he wasn't his father's son and Severus showed them all he wasn't a Death eater. A Snape victory all around!

Author's Response: Isn't it great that they finally got what they deserved?

It was perfect! I loved the scene at night between harry and Draco, it showed that the two are truly brothers now and can rely on each other. You showed draco's vulnerability very well there, poor kid.

The trial was great too, it was like reading a good mystery novel, and I wasn't sure they would get convicted until the end. Thank Merlin they were!

Draco's facing off against his parents was brilliant, though I'd of liked to kick Narcissa, the miserable hag.

And so was Severus's defense of Draco and Draco punching out Octavian. Go for it!

Can't wait to see what happenes next!

Author's Response: aww, thanks a bunch.  I love reading mysteries, but I don't think I could ever write one.

Great chapter! I felt like I was there at the trial. Or watching an episode of Law & Order, with wizards. yay for conviction and I feel bad for Draco, though really he got the best of that deal. Now he can inherit his father's estate and do some good instead of evil.

Author's Response: law & Order with wizard? Wow, that's a nice comparison.  And Draco will eventually inherit the estate, when he turns 17.

Whoo-hoo! I ant my chocolate and my potion too! How brilliant. The Malfoys got what they deserved. Poor Draco though, to have his mother say such awful things to his face. That's gotta hurt. I'm glad Severus told the nasty b*%$#@ off.

Author's Response: It's coming up, thanls as always for your review.  You're right about the terrible things draco's mother said to him, you'll see the aftermath of that in the next chapter.
