This chapter sure was full of action! Those Unseelie and dark creatures sound horrible, I'm glad they were taken to the curb! Great battle scenes, I could picture everything perfectly.

I really like the ideas you have for the fae realm, very creative. The animals and their personalities are great and I think it's cool you created some form of villain. Hope to read more soon, this story is fun to read ^_^

Author's Response: The darkhounds and the Inseelie warriors are horrible, and they'll be back if and when I ever do a sequel to this.  They're the Seelie Court's ancient enemies and they are always trying to find ways into the Deepwood and kill and maima innocents there. I loved having the elvensteeds talk and interact with their riders and I might do some more with them as well in the future, this was just a taste of the fae realm.

Sorry, food fights leave me cold. I hate 'em in movies, television programs, wherever I find them. All I feel is: waste of food; pain in the neck for whoever has to clean up after it. Plus, they're just not that entertaining.
I still love your story, though!

Author's Response: I don't much care for them either, but it seemed like a typical Harry and Draco thing to be doing.  (Those boys! Always up to something.) And my nephew thought it'd be cool to put that in there, so I agreed, since he's the one who originally encouraged me to write these stories.  He's 12.

This is such an awesome story! I wish this could be published. Can't wait for the next part. I hope Sirius is answering Harry--finally.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks! You'll see who the letters are from, don't worry.

that chapter was all out action and i loved it, the fight was awesome, harry did well in trying to heal draco and severus and sarai were great in the confrontation, i am so pleased draco survived

Author's Response: All right! I really like a good fight or two in some of my stories, because you need some action to round out a story.

Now THAT was incredible! I loved the fight, it was very vivid and real and so was the aftermath, with Severus talking and keeping watch over Draco & harry and Sarai as well. This story is an excellent piece of work.

Author's Response: Thanks and I really enjoy my action scenes, I like to get my characters' blood pumping and wreak some havoc on some bad guy's ass.

The fight was marvelous! I'm glad they kicked the raiders butts. But I loved the way draco and Sev had their moment to bond afterwards. They really needed that. Poor draco! He got royally knocked all over didn't he?

Author's Response: Yeah, he did, but sometimes that's the price you pay when you engage in battle.  Lucky harry was there to save him, huh?

    Letters: Ron, Hermione and Sirius.

Action-packed is putting it very lightly my dear. I was just about ready to tear out someone's throat!

Very good chapter, my dear. You know I love your story.

I apologize for my short review but it's really late, by my standards, and I'm tired.

    I bid you goodnight.

    Yours,
    Jewels.

Author's Response: tear out someone's throat? Uh, maybe you'd better take a few deep breaths and calm down? Unless you were planning on tearing out an Unseelie's throat.  letters, i won't say if you're right or not yet.  Have a good night!

Battle was awesome and Harry protecting his brother was great...but of course the highlight was Sev and Sarai, Harry got to see some masters at their best.
Curious as to how the Raiders got pass the wards and were there to come upon Harry and Draco, was it that the two boys happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was it a set up to get the boys (Sarai gets an invite asking Sev and the boys along - because once it was sent it would have been rude not to go...) it may be they are targeting Sarai as the best way to hurt someone like her would be to go after those she cares about and the most vulnerable would be the youngsters , or did the boys happen to prevent the raiders going after someone else, the prince perhaps. Anyway it is very intriguing, you have my mind going a hundred miles per hour trying to figure what is going to happen next...I just love it

Author's Response: Yes, the masters ruled this fight, though the two boys didn't do too badly either considering this was the first time either of them had ever been in combat before, against the Unseelie, that is.  As  for the raiders motivation, the Courts of Light & Dark have always been enemies, and it could be that they were sent to cause mayhem, and the two boys just happened to catch the brunt of it.  The invitation from Balin was legit, shimmerlings can't lie, remember? And he really did want his bodyguard to have a bit of fun, which is why he asked her and her guests to go along. But this is Underhill and you have to expect the unexpected.  rest assured, Balin will make sure nothing like that happens again, it was very embarrassing and horrifying to have a guest attacked that way, especially a young guest.
