Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
Author's Response: Maybe and maybe not. They've matured a lot over the summer, and most of their jealousy had its roots in the rivalry that went on during school, plus the fact that each of them never had a real father figure and were scared to lose him to the "enemy" so to speak. However, Sarai doesn't live with them, is visiting, and while it is awkward at first and confusing, for Harry especially, to think that his father is actually invovled with a lady, the level of jealousy isn't as high. Yes, Severus did hug her at first, but he hasn't kissed her at all in front of the boys, the first kiss was shared while they were still outside, and they are being discreet, keeping the PDA's down to looks while the kids are present. Neither of the boys has ever heard Sev tell Sarai he loves her either, though it is implied, they don't say it that often and if they do it's usually in private. However, in the next chapter, Harry will have two separate talks about Sev's relationship, one with his father, and the other with Smidgen, who has her own advice to give, which will help quell some of the anxiousness. Plus Sarai herself spends a good deal of time with them and helps them smooth over some rough spots with Sev, so they come to regard her as an ally rather than an enemy. It could have been different if she moved in with them, but that doesn't happen, and her relationship with Harry & Draco can grow gradually.
What's a chimera? Ok, so I was slightly off about the relationship - or was I bang on? I don't remember. ::grins:: I think Severus and Sarai deserve each other. Is there going to be jealousy on Harry and Draco's part? I hope there is. ::grins wickedly:: I have a feeling that Sarai would get along with Phil and Julie just fine. ::nods then lightbulb flashes:: I wonder how Sarai would react to meeting a vampire in the first place... depending on your vampires, of course. And don't be offended! Your story, I'm just brainstorming outloud 'cause I'm a freak. ::grins:: Brilliant, very brilliant chapter, my dear. I am eagerly looking forward to more! ::waggles fingers:: Byesies for now. - Oh! I saw The Dark Knight three times already. I LOVED it! Go see it NOW! ::winks:: Author's Response: Julie,
A chimera is a monster from Greek mythology, it has three heads, a lion, a goat, and a dragon, and also a snake for a tail all attached to a lion's body with wings. It's dragon head can breathe fire and the goat head can breathe poison gas. Greek mythology had the hero Bellerophon fight the chimera on the back of Pegasus and kill it with magic arrows. My chimeras are similar to those in myth. You predicted that Severus and Sarai would be in love, so that was good! As for the jealousy, just wait and see. it might not be as bad as you think! I'm sure Sarai would get along with Phil and Julie or a good vampire, like those in your story. I plan on seeing DK very soon! And Mamma Mia too! Are you ready for Breaking Dawn?? It's coming out Saturday!!
Author's Response: Yes Balin is very much an immature young man, he's around twenty-one in human years and just full of himself. Sarai adores Severus and vice versa, they have a very meaningful relationship, she is one of the few Sev has ever allowed inside his mind and into his heart as well. As for the hunt, there is an unexpected surprise that occurs, you'll see what happens next chapter. Lots of dangerous things lurk in the Realm of Faerie.
Author's Response: Thank you! You'll be seeing a lot more of her too.
Author's Response: Yes there are some parallels between a Blade and an Amazon, except Sarai doesn't hate men and Blades are made up of male and female warriors.
Author's Response: Hi! I figured it was time for Draco and Harry to get some sibling bonding going, which why I had him come to see Harry instead of Severus. But Severus is very concerned over Harry, and guilt-stricken as well, as you'll see in the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks I should be posting the next one soon!
Author's Response: Thanks and I'm glad everyone seems to like Sarai, she's a really cool character!
Author's Response: Thanks, I try to make the scenarios in my stories as realistic as possible, at least for things like mud fights and all! It sounds like you had a great time!
Author's Response: Yes, but well, you'll see. The boys don't actually hunt them. As for Severus and Sarai, they'll be together for a few more chapters, they actually make a nice couple. |
