Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
this was wonderful! Author's Response: Thanks and I've been kind of busy lately so I haven't been writing as quickly as usual.
Author's Response: Sev does come up with some good ones, doesn't he? And Draco does a good deal of growing up in this story, so by the end you might actually like him.
I am glad they are getting more friendly. They may have a problem with Ron (and Sirius) Author's Response: Nope. I decided to make it something totally different, and now that he's free of Voldemort's influence, he can heal fully from everything that has gone on in his past. As for Draco, he is maturing and learning that Harry is family too, the one thing he never really had, but he does now. You'll see Ron's reaction to Draco in a few chapters and Sirius's as well.
Author's Response: So did I, which was why I put him in here! He makes things a whole lot more interesting.
Author's Response: Thanks and it was kind of difficult to write!
Author's Response: Yes, Dumble is not very nice in this story. He's a manipulator who uses people like chess pawns, for his own ends, though admittedly they are good ones.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I tried to give Harry a memory of his mother that didn't just have her dying, but showing she was a tough witch in her own right who protected what she loved best before falling in battle to a much stronger opponent. If she hadn't been so weakened from the Mother Guardianship spell, she might have given old Voldy quite a fight, she was no pushover. And I thought it sweet Draco would go all big brother like on Harry, since God knows he needs one to keep him from throwing himself headfirst into danger. Smidgen is actually pretty powerful on her own ground, as you saw, her size is deceptive, she has a great deal of magic like all the fae creatures. Glad you liked that last line, it was an improvisation! :)
::rolls on floor laughing:: That - gasp - was - gasp - a - gasp - perfect - gasp - ending! I'm glad Harry no longer has a connection to Voldemort. He deserves a normal life; to be happy with his father and brother. Draco's a typical teenager - he reminds me of my brother, always sleeping in till noon or two o'clock. ;p Voldemort Dementor deserved what he got! Now Harry's gotta kill the real bastard and that'll be it. ::eyes Snapegirl warily:: How bad are Severus' nightmares going to be? You can't be /that/ cruel to him! Eagerly looking forward to more, my dear. Oh! And I'm going to give my guess as to whom the Heir to the manor will be: BOTH! ::winks and waggles fingers:: Toodles. Author's Response: Yeah, I loved that part. Some of Draco's behavior is based upon my five teenage nephews, all of whom adore sleeping till noon or 2 to 3 in the afternoon every day! Yes, harry does have to kill the real Voldemort eventually, and it will be much easier without the connection. Sev's nightmares, well they will be pretty bad, but I'd never be so cruel as to hurt my Sev all that badly! Your guess is noted. And may I say, you're the first to offer one. So good for you!
Author's Response: Yes, I know, though I've tried to slow it down a bit and leave maybe two days inbetween my updates to give everyone time to read them. I liked that chapter as well, and I figured it was about time Harry got some help with his nightmares, poor kid. And Sev shouldn't have to do it all, so I brought in Smidgen to help out and you'll be seeing Sarai too in another three or four chapters as well.
Author's Response: Great, and I also like Petunia much better than in the books. |
