Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
But this was an incredible chapter. Holy hellcats, but I was terrified! I think I'm still shaking! Author's Response: I know, I'm so bad! hahahaha! And if you thought this chapter was scary . . . .
Author's Response: oops! Sorry! NOT! C'mon, don't you enjoy suspense?
Author's Response: Thanks, I try and and make all my situations as real as possible, because I don't like reading something where I'm going, this would never happen or it's ridiculous.
lol. thanks for the chapter and good luck on the next Author's Response: Yes, I know! LOL! As for the next one . . .Voldy's coming, is all I've got to say!
Again, an amazing chapter. I love the little shimmerling! She's adorable and has a personality that's all her own! I enjoy reading her. ::bows before Snapegirl:: You are a goddess! Ok, onto the next chapter. ::sidles out the door whistling high-ho, high-ho, it's off to work -- no the next chapter -- we go:: Author's Response: You really are hilarious, Julie! :) And you'll be meeting Sarai in another five or six chapters, I think. She does have more than just a teacher relationship with Severus now, though a long time ago that wasn't the case. You'll see when she arrives at the manor, she has a way of showing up unexpectedly and surprising Severus out of his skin. I'm glad you like Smidgen, she's one of my favorite OC's, she's very fun and I enjoy writing her. She is also wise and helps Harry and Severus a great deal. Thanks as always for your wonderful reviews, I look forward to reading them!
What, exactly, is a shimmerling? Oh! Chapter 3 of Breaking Dawn is posted! ::shouts:: Go me! Ok, off to read the next few chapters, as I promised. Yours, Jewels. Author's Response: It's a creature I invented, a fae cat, three inches high and seven inches long, serves as a messenger to the High Queen of the Seelie Court (the good fairies) has wings and can come in different shades and is telepathic and under a geas to speak only the truth. The dreamweaver shimmerlings are midnight black, violet eyes, and purple and turquoise wings. They also possess a limited teleportation ability called blinking. Shimmelrings can live for centuries, Smidgen is over five centuries. They don't mind interacting with humans, and love children and will willingly help them, for a small price, i.e. food and shelter. yay for your next chapter, I'll read it when I've got time! I used to be a mythology buff, and still am, which is why I enjoy writing fantasy and I have a strange vampire fic going, one of these days I'll have to email you the first few chapters and let you take a look at it, when I finish this fic and some others.
Author's Response: You're right and Severus will be there for him when he needs him, though there is one very important thing Harry needs to do before the majority of his fear is vanquished. And I agree that to Harry Vernon is more of a monster than Voldemort, in some ways, as are all child abusers.
you never cese to amze me! can't wait for the next one! Author's Response: Thanks, Amy!
Just wait for the next one, it's even scarier!
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks! I'm delighted you found that part so moving, it was my favorite part too. I figured after all he'd been through, Sev deserved a hug from his son too! And he needed to hear from Harry's own mouth that his son could forgive him for not saving his mother, it really meant more than words could say.
Author's Response: Oh good, then I wasn't being overly harsh with my portrayal, because I've always pictured James as being an arrogant spoiled playboy who had a good deal of maturing to do, and somehow I never quite bought the whole idea that he suddenly went from a bored spoiled bully that tormented Severus because he was there to this wonderful hero in what--two years? I figured there had to be some kind of life altering thing that happened to make him change . . .or perhaps he never changed and people simply chose to forget about how he really was and make him into some kind of paragon after he died facing Voldemort. I know plenty of real people who behave just like James did, though raising a child does tend to mature you if you let it. |
