Wonderful! Loved that Harry's flying again and I can't wait to find out what happened to the shimmerling!
Author's Response: Be patient, my dear, and you will discover the answer soon enough! ;)
i like it it's cuddly
Author's Response: The shimmerling? Well, not right now it isn't. Right now it's dying and Severus and Harry have to try and save the poor thing.
NO! not another cliffe! why!
Author's Response: Cause I likes them, my presciouss! Oops, sorry, wrong story! LOL! really, you ought to know by now that I love making my readers go nuts wondering what's going to happen next. *Severus is snickering in the background*
Shimmerling is an awesome name =D You made a really good point about Harry's flying skills; what he was thinking about practise made a lot of sense.
Author's Response: So glad you like it! You'll see why it's called that in about two chapters. I figured playing Quidditch was a lot like playing any other sport, practice is essential. I can remember my brother saying that about football and my nephews say the same about their hockey and soccer practice. They hate it, but they also need it to keep their edge, otherwise they lose something and can't perform as well as they should during a game. Like anything else, the old saying practice makes perfect does apply. :)
awww.
brill
Author's Response: Thanks, you're sweet! :)

I hope they're able to save the shimmerling. I take it that there will be an explanation of what it is in the next chapter? I'd also like to have Harry find out how the Dursleys are doing. I'm curious if Dudley's not as spoiled now or if he's still resisting change. Thanks for the update. I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Yes, you'll learn more about the shimmerling in the next chapter, it's an important supporting character, you'll see why. As for the Dursleys, Harry will discover more about them once Severus returns them to "real time" right now they're still on 'manor time" and he hasn't gotten back to the week before school, which was when he turned the clock back and slowed down time in the manor.

This story is really good. I can't wait until they go to school, that will be interesting. Keep up the good work. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! The boys will have some other interesting adventures at the manor before going back to Hogwarts, so be prepared!
The thing I really loved about this chapter were the different levels of expertise Severus, Draco and Harry all had for kin-sa-dor. Far too often, super!Harry intuitively picks up martial arts in a very short space of time, rarely practicing or meditating. Thankyou for the realism shown.
Author's Response: You're very welcome. For this chapter I used a lot of my brother's advice, as he's the martial arts expert in my family. He's trained in three disicplines, holding master titles in two, kung fu and ninjitsu and he also knows Jeet Kun Do, the martial art form that Bruce Lee invented. I asked him a bunch of questions and then took what he told me and wrote this chapter. He said that it would be unrealistic if I had any student advance too fast, since martial arts takes time, even if you've a natural bent for it.
