Reviews For Where Shadows Go
Author's Response: Yes well, he did deserve it and poor Sev was like at his wits end there. I would have just died, I think.
I heartily approve of Severus's choice of reading material. I used to read Kipling to Kris when he was small. One time, Kris and I were sitting on the couch and I was reading the Jungle /Book to him. Randy was in the bathroom shaving. I had gotten to the part where Mother and Father Wolf were facing off Sher Khan, when I heard Randy call for me. I looked up and he said "Could you read louder?" In all of his years, he had never read Jungle Book. My favorite story is the Curious Elephant Child. Author's Response: I love Kipling, I've read everything by him over and over and over. I used to ask for a panther like Bagheera (he was always my favorite) for Christmas every year when I was eight, nine, and ten. Then I started asking for a wolf and when I was twelve my big brother (he was twenty-two) bought me a wolf-dog that looked like a full wolf. He was one of the smartest and best dogs I've ever owned. And the gentlest, surprisingly. His name was Myatuk (White Fang in Inuit) and he was an awesome dog.rnrnI love the Curious Elephant Child too, and make reference to it in the next chapter I just posted. rnrnCan't imagine anybody not ever reading the Jungle Book. It's a classic. How did your husband like it?
Author's Response: He sure was, and that part wasn't even a planned thing, it just happened as I was writing. But I'm glad it did. You can read about some more of his mischief in the next part, posted about two minutes ago.
Author's Response: I hate being sick too, I think everyone does. Except my cousin. She never got sick and used to wish she did so she could call out of work. I loved playing Hospital when I was little with my dog and my dolls.
Author's Response: No, Lily isn't pregnant and there's a good reason why, as you'll find out later on. Only Harry will be in this story as a small child.
Author's Response: You gotta love Harry, even when you want to strangle him!
Author's Response: You can read the next chapter now and find out!
Author's Response: Probably! And there's something we use at work to get permanent marker and nail polish off our bathroom walls called Van-Go, works miraculously, but it does smell...ugh!rnrnAlways glad to make someone happy! :)
I bet it Severus that gets sick. He's the only unexpected one I can think of. Though didn't Lily die from Lupus? When will she get that? Thanks for the update. Perfect way to procrastinate on my government homework. Author's Response: DaVinci was incredible, but I love Van Gogh too. And Michelangelo. They were amazing people, though some were very tormented. Yes, Lily does died from complications of lupus, but not for quite some time yet.
Author's Response: great, this was such a funny chapter for me to write! |
