    Eventually, I might.  I'm thinking about it but have to finish up a few others first and do a new plotline for this one.

    Yeah, HYA is on hiatus until I do some more playing with that plotline and also research about New Orleans and voodoo and the bayou area.

    I think this is an awesome story, i usually don't read a lot of Gen but this is really good! I like how the story has its own spin, its so boring whenever you read an AU story that follows a school year and you have the exact same things happen.
    you have the exact right mix of AU and Cannon!

    Author's Response: THANK you! You don't know how happy I am to hear you say that. Because I agree, and don't understand why some people review me and complain nonstop about how this didn't happen in the books and neither did this and so on. And I'm like, well we all KNOW what happened in the books, why would you want to read ff where the SAME thing happens? It's already been done, so why reinvent, or write, the wheel? I write these stories so I can have something DIFFERENT happen to the characters, so it makes it fun and interesting to read. So why complain, if you're reading fanfiction that it's not like the book?  Just wait till you see what happens next!

    i loved this story n i read it all in one sitting!! i really hope u hv a sequel to this!! nyways u did a fantastic job w/ the characters n bringing them 2 life i enjoyed every single chapter plz keep writing!!

    Author's Response: Thanks so much! Some people who read this had a problem with the religious references, glad you enjoyed it! I never wrote the sequel, but eventually I will. After I finished this I got involved in writing The Heir to Prince Manor and then some more of my Never Again series and after that Return to Prince Manor, so the sequel got put on hold till later.

    Nice little effect- the madder Minerva gets, the more pronounced her accent becomes! Just like real life -nods-

    Author's Response: Thank you! You're the first reviewer to notice that and appreciate it.  Some others thought my doing that was strange or not IC, but I disagree. My father who has lived here in the US longer than he ever did in Italy, still speaks with some of his Italian accent, since English was his second language. My neighbor, who hailed from Scotland, and came here as an adult and has lived here over 20 years, still speaks with a Scottish burr on occasion. Both of them have much more pronounced accents when they get excited or angry, it's like they revert back to their original  manner of speaking.  I figured if Lucy could do that, then so should Minerva.
