    My promised review.

    I'm sorry it took so long.

    It was very good. Ron showed true remorse when he cried on Severus' lap. I hope the damage is not irrepairable; Harry needs to know that he has friends he can count on. Even though he wants to be normal, he never will, not even after the defeat of Voldemort. The most important thing is that he has his father, Boreal and his friends.

    I hope Harry does forgive Ron.

    A surprise visitor: I believe it's Dumbledore. He affects all three of them not just one or the other. Boreal's owner would perhaps have an impact on all three of them too.

    Update soon, my dear.

    Yes, that really is the most important thing and he will eventually forgive Ron, as you'll see in the next chapter.

    wow you nearly got a blank review as i pressed submit by accident.

    great chapter, but i wonder if severus would of healed ron if he had known the story of the argument beforehand.

    if i was harry i wouldn't forgive ron for what he said, though the words were said in anger, ron must believe in what he said, otherwise he wouldn't of said what he did

    Severus wouldn't have refused to help a student, since he is responsible for Ron while he is at Malachite cottage.

    Ron does believe partially in what he said, but remember, he's also an immature twelve-year-old kid and he has a lot of growing up to do.  Harry has some things to say to him which will make him think and realize that he was wrong as will the punishment Severus gives him.

    wow, ron needs to get his priorities sorted out and grow up otherwise harry will find a better friend who understands better, harry has had some special treatment but like harry said he didn't ask for it, though he didn't complain about it either but you can't blame him for not complaining, i wouldn't.

    Author's Response: True and Ron will learn that to his sorrow.  Yes, Harry has gotten some special treatment, but look as well at what he suffered through before it and tell me he doesn't deserve it.  Ron needs to realize that not everything material matters and he should quit looking at what Harry has now and think about what he DIDN'T have all those years ago.

    great chapter as always, harrys birthday was great and the cake was nice, harry in my opinion should view the memories when he and sev are alone

    OMG, that was some walk through the woods. I could almost feel sorry for Ron here, except I know he kind of deserved it for being so monstrous to Harry before. The glen has a sense of justice, it seems.

    Can't wait to see what else happens!

    Wonderful chapter! I love how you had Sev handle Ron, it was great. And Ron is right to worry that Harry might not forgive him, Harry has a right to be angry at him.

    Can't wait to see what happens next.
