    Nicely done. I like the way Severus handled Ron in a professional manner. Sometimes if we perceive objectivity, that's all it takes to confess or confide. I enjoyed it. Harry does get material advantages in this story, but he sure has to pay for them everywhere else doesn't he?

    Author's Response: Yes, he does, because nothing except perhaps Sev's love for Harry, is ever free.  And you're right as to the reason why Ron confessed to Severus.  Thanks for reviewing!

    Author's Response: Yes, he does and he paid for them long before that as well, living with those awful Dursleys.  Snape can be very objective when he wants to, and it can be comforting, especially to a hurt or upset child.

    poor ron, that sounded very painful! still what he said to harry was very mean so it kind of evens out lol
