*snort* the idea of Sev being told to read Dr Phil ... hilarious !
Author's Response: Ain't that the truth! Could you just see it??
So after all that, did Rellah get to make their hassenpfeffer, or however she was going to cook the hare? I don't recall either Harry or Sev actually handing it to her, with all the excitement of the wyvern fight & Severus' and Boreal's injuries.
Author's Response: Uh . . .it kind of got forgotten in the meadow, but Severus will get her another one so she can cook it.
I love it!
Please write more! I can't wait!
Author's Response: Thanks and I'm working on the next chapter!
This was a great chapter! I loved the details about pegasus(es) and I laughed like mad when Gran told stories about Severus the kid. The letters were nicely in character. I wonder if Severus will agree with them coming (because he knows Harry very much wants that) or if he will resist for a while (as Harry is on punishment). Maybe his mum will have to tell him not to be too hard on the child? Or maybe Harry will tell him he never had a b-day party? Mmmm, possibilities. I hope you will have a new chapter for us soon (yesterday was certainly missing something...) Mila
Author's Response: LOL! I know, I was working on a chapter for Shadows instead! You'll see how Sev responds next chapter, Harry should be off punishment by his birthday and Harry will bring up the fact that he never had a real party, as a matter of fact.

yay! let Harry ride the pegasus! That would be so awesome. And so would the Golden trio getting back together again. What fun they could have driving Severus crazy!
Author's Response: Oh could they ever! I think Sev better run while he still can!

Beautiful! I really want Harry to ride Boreal!
Poor Ron in trouble twice over the Sorcerer's Stone! I hope Snape lets the two come to the glen for Harry's birthday.
Author's Response: You'll get your wish, trust me!

I hope Sev lets Ron & Hermione come, it'd be a great birthday present! Loved the way Harry reacted when Eileen told him that Severus had blown up a potion--too funny!
Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: Definitely hilarious, we all make mistakes, even potions geniuses!

Aww that was really sweet and I loved the way you described the pegasus breeds and Sev as a little boy! Too cute, not to mention hilarious!
Author's Response: Great and I hope you enjoy the next chapter.

Taking care of a horse is hard work, but necessary. I loved all the conversations, especially Eileen's with young Severus and Lily, it was funny!
I hope Snape will let Ron & Hermione visit.
Author's Response: Yes, it is, I have a friedn who owns a horse and she spends hours with it, grooming, feeding, mucking out. and riding. I enjoyed writing young Sev and Lily.
Wow, that was a quick update! I hope Boreal will stick around and continue to be an influence in the story. I also really like the insight Eileen provides into Severus's childhood. I have a hard time imagining the Potions Master blowing up his cauldrons as a youngster, but everyone has to start learning somewhere! Truthfully, I think it's the way JKR wrote Severus. She didn't give him much of a childhood, and what she did tell made it difficult to see him as being anything other than what he was.
In response to your response to my last review: I can't believe that someone could do stitches like that on their own child so efficiently! Wow! I know some doctors do really well with stitched, but the guy who did mine, well, I don't know if he messed up removing the mole or what, but after I got the stitches out (and I waited longer than I was supposed to, as well) the area split open again. That was a mess.
Author's Response: yes, and if JKR had given us more than a glimpse into Snape's childhood, we might understand him a bit better. You'll note that Eileen does say that Sev was a very good potion make even then, but he was not perfect and it's easy to make mistakes when you're experimenting. My sister is amazing, everyone wants her as their OBGYN, no joke, her waiting list for new patients is 6 months. Never got a mole removed, but after hearing that I don't think I want to.
