Reviews For Arms of a Dark Angel
I'm enjoying Severus' knowledge of healing. The detail in your story has been phenomenal. Thanks! Author's Response: Thank you too. I try really hard to capture the way the leopards feel and think so you can understand how it would be to become one. More Wraith and Whisper will be coming up!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Yes, i didn't want it to be easy, since nothing worth doing ever is.
Author's Response: Thanks, you made my day!
What to say? I see that I am the only one who has still not reviewed. A remedy I am currently fixing! ::claps hands together:: Let's start this! The interaction between Wraith and Whisper was down pact. I've been doing a lot of research lately on big cats - simple curiosity and your story has given an idea of my own - and the way the two are acting towards each other is very realistic of the cats in the real world. Have you thought about writing a sequel with my, er, suggested idea? ::quietly:: I've told you I won't be offended if you say no but I think it would be neat. I don't have the patience to play with J. K. Rowling's characters right now. So, ::bows:: I shall leave that up to you and throw out suggestions or ideas when they hit me. And, if it appeals to you to, hopefully you'll use 'em. ::grins:: I'm curious about the 'unexpected something' coming up in the next chapter. Does it have to do with a character of the HP world or one of your magnificent Originals? - by the way, Ebony is a beautiful character. I simply adore the onyx fox. All right my darling, I shall take my leave for now. Update soon and I am very eager to see what the sequel is. Truly. Love, Jewels. Author's Response: I shall indeed and I thank you for them. I need inspiration. I based a lot of my cat parts on the way my own cats used to act with each other and from watching all these nature shows, I love them. Ebony will return in the next chapter as will the fox kits. And the unexpected something will be revealed then also . . . see ya!
Poor Harry having to endure those baths from Wraith. Can you just imagine how rough Wraith's tongue must be! Yuk! Really cute story, looking for to discovering Harry's shocking discovery. Author's Response: Cute, huh?
Actually, a snow leopard's tongue would feel like brillo to us, but to a cat it might be very soothing. I read once in a cat magazine that the reason a cat's tongue is so rough is for grooming purposes, and a leopard's fur must be really thick and they need the tongue to get all the loose fur and dirt and tangles out. I think when Whispers says he hates baths, he means he doesn't like to get wet, but I think the motion of Wraith licking him is soothing. When my sister's cat had kittens she groomed them constantly, and their fur was always so soft and smelled nice and clean, that's why I have Wraith giving Whisper so many baths. Running outside gets him pretty dirty, LOL!
Author's Response: he will definately be healing soon, some of it has already begun.
Author's Response: Thanks I love writing the animals!
Author's Response: Ha, that's funny! I just love them when they're all snuggly and playful.
Author's Response: Aren't they, though! |
