    Author's Response: Poor Harry, but he really had no reason to suspect the chocolate frog was poisoned.  it was sealed and inside the box with the others he had eaten before.  This is a very clever poisoner.  I'll be updating soon, so you can stop chewing your fingernails off.  *grins*

    Loved it! Who says Hermione's awesome? I do! Ron needs to get a clue. I ,oved the way Snape and Hagrid are friends and the scene with Sev and Harry is great, Sev's acting more and more like a dad. Please update soon!

    Author's Response: I agree. Ron is clueless, and Severus is starting to treat harry more and more like a son.

    Good for Hermione! I'm glad she's now supporting Harry. Ron needs a smack upside the head! I'm glad Harry admitted that he remembered what had happened that day to Sev, it shows that he trusts Snape, even if the man is going to punish him, he knows it's always good to tell the truth.

    Author's Response: yes, maybe that will knock some sense into him, huh? Harry does trust Severus which is why he admitted to the duel in the first place.

    Snape saves Harry and Ron still doesn't trust him. What an idiot!! But this chapter was great, I loved Hagrid saying the snow leopard was one that evil hid its face from. And Sev's scolding was right on, maybe Harry will stop breaking rules, huh? NOT!

    I loved the way Harry finally convinced Hermione that Snape wasn't a bad guy. Ron really needs a reality check, the stubborn idiot. I also liked the conversation between Sev and Hagrid. Hagrid's a good friend. And it was good that Harry confesed about the duel to Severus and didn't try and lie his way out of it, that would have only made Snape mad. Can't wait to see what happens next!

    Author's Response: Yes, lying makes Severus more angry than anything.   hagrid and Severus have a good rapport with each other.  Goes back to Sev's childhood.

    That's a Dad - hug them and smack them on the bottom the next second.

    I am glad Hagrid understands about Severus being a good man. It must be nice for Sev to have someone to talk to.

    So looking forward to more.

    Author's Response: yeah, Sev is very much harry's dad now, no doubt about it.  And Hagrid does know Severus better than almost anyone, even Min and Albus.  Severus also trusts Hagrid as a friend.  I'll be posting the next chapter in about ten minutes.

    great chapter and snape wouldn't raise his voice at harry if he didn't care, i'm glad at least that hermione has come around on the snape isn't evil thing and ron needs to read between the lines.

    harry should be locked up in snapes quarters, so he is safe from the attacker

    Author's Response: No, he wouldn't and Ron is just being his usual stubborn self.  It's too bad Snape couldn't do that with Harry, but the kid does need to go to class and play Quidditch, unfortunately.
