Well, apart from always having thought that first declaring the Forest Forbidden and then sending first years into it for detention is a sure sign of fatal stupidity, I loved Snape's animagus form.

yes, very cool animagus form! i like snape as a big cat. does the dark mark show up as a funny shaped spot on his foreleg ? ;)
i also like severus carrying harry back to the castle... *melts* i bet severus is going to tear a strip off hagrid for letting h&d go off on their own though! (out of concern for draco of course... right...)
is severus ever going to let -anyone- see how he feels about harry? surely dumbles & minerva would be safe?? maybe after voldemort dies at the end of book 1?
Author's Response: It probably does. He knows that Hagrid didn't have a choice as to where he took the kids, but Sev can get pretty irrational when it comes to Harry. Someday perhaps he might trust Minerva and Dumbledore and tell them how he considers Harry his son.

I loved it. I was really scared even though I knew harry would be okay. Sev's animagus form was wickedly cool. I love big cats.

I loved it! Sev was right on when he tells harry that what matters was what he thought and so long as Harry knows the truth, he shouldn't let Ron's comments bother him.
Will they ever discover who poisoned Hedwig?

Aww, poor Harry. And Sev. I love the part where he tells Harry that he shouldn't let people get to him, since he knows the truth.
I felt bad for Hedwig too!
And Norbert was very sweet.

Yay, a new chapter!
I felt really bad for Harry here, Ron better watch it before Harry punches him out. Sev gave Harry good advice though. And was hedwig poisoned? Norbert was adorable!
