Reviews For Arms of a Dark Angel
Author's Response: I wanted to make it different than the books, and throw in some different plot twists.
Author's Response: Well, he was of fae blood in Heir to Prince Manor, but here he's not. The mirror in my version is much more seductive, I agree about the first book too, which is why it's different in my version.
Your story is really good. I like how Snape has almost a double personality. Author's Response: Me either. I take them off and I'm blind as a bat. I can't even drive at night, as I have no peripheral night vision. And Severus will continue to have that dual personality, so to speak, until the masquerade is no longer needed. Glad you're enjoying this!
Author's Response: Someday they might be able to, if Severus can assure Harry's safety and his own. Right now, it's safer for them both if their relationship remains a secret. I always found the Mirror of Erised was treated too lightly in the books, I mean why hide this mirror away if it wasn't dangerous? So I made it very insidious and subtle and seductive, just the kind of object that would tempt an innocent lonely boy like Harry.
Author's Response: I will, the mirror was meant to be more frightening than the books.
Author's Response: Thanks! It made me shiver too.
::raises eyebrows:: Simply magnificent. I love father Severus! Oh and Harry... the poor child, I just want to pull into my arms and never let him go! Update soon, my darling. I am so very looking forward to more. ::glances at Author's Notes:: Why do I even bother getting my hopes up, hmm? ::shouts, waving hands:: FINE! I GIVE UP! D'you hear? I GIVE UP! YOU WIN! I'll wait like a good little girl for your revealing chapter of Snape's Animagus form. ::pouts:: Happy now? All my love, Jewels Author's Response: Perhaps. And Harry really does need someone to watch out for him. As for the Forbidden Forest, it's coming, promise!
You write creepy very well. Author's Response: Thanks, it's not my favorite thing to write, but I figured the mirror was more than it was made out to be in the books. And Harry was lucky indeed.
Author's Response: Thanks and I did warn you!
Author's Response: So did I! Poor kid! But maybe someday . . . |
