    Great chapter.
    But you had them Apparating directly from the infirmary to St. Mungo's which isn't possible with the wards.
    You should've had them floo OR actually leaving Hogwarts before apparating.
    Don't mean to nitpick, just be mindful of your story details.
    Update soon.

    Aww! I'm feeling all gushy...and fluffy! Anybody got a kitty cat? I need to squeze something. That was so sweet, Snape though of Harry as his son, (grins goofily).

    Author's Response: You'd better be careful, Scorpia! I trip over things like that too though.  fell off my friend's back porch once and tore ligaments in my ankle.  So I can sympathize with poor harry there.  And if you'll read the next chapter you'll see what happens to him.

    I'm caught between laughing at poor Harry and gagging. Tabasco sauce, ugh. That's what my aunt used on her twins when they bit each other, lol.

    Author's Response: And my niece does the same with her 3 year old son too! But he hasn't bitten anyone since, so it works. As harry learned unfortunately!

    Great chapter. I smiled when Harry got his glasses. I know when I got my first pair of glasses everything looked amazing, lol. Too bad his day wentdownhill from there, :( Sorry I have not been reviewing, I want to try and keep up with updates but life is holding me back, (frowns). Great story, brilliant chapter!

    I am so happy for Harry; what a lovely christmas present! I almost had tears in my eyes when Harry cried tears of joy!

    I expect an update the minute you get back! Just kidding again! Can't wait for the next chapter when you're nice and rested!

    Author's Response: I'm rested and have just posted another chapter, by the way, though I'm still in PA.  I write even when I'm on vacation, LOL! And I loved writing this chapter, I wanted it to be very moving, since Harry never got a real Christmas before.

    I loved the gift Severus gave Harry - /I/ nearly had tears of my own. That poor child has been through so much. The idea of Severus looking after him, and loving him, means so much. And ::squeals:: at last, AT LAST, he's acknowledged Harry as his son even if he's using an alias.

    If you do continue this story, my dearest Snapegirl, please, /please/, don't write a Harry/Ginny fic. I've said it before and I'm saying it again - I really, REALLY, hate the redhead. ::grins and winks:: I'm trying to gather the nerve to read Good Guys Wear Black, I swear!

    As for you original complete story - do you really need to ask? My answer: HELL YES!

    And I wanted to give harry a really meaningful gift, something he could appreciate forever! And thus the eye surgery.  I might do an alternate pairing here, maybe with Hermione, but not for quite some time.  Do read Good Guys, it's very entertaining and has a different take on the hated red-head.

    It is really great that Harry could have the surgery. I am one of those people that lasar surgery didn't work on. After about 5 years, my eyes had sipped back to their old near sightedness.

    How is this all going to play out when he has to return to the Dursleys. They aren't going to be happy with the now clear sighted Harry.

    Also, wouldn't most of his friends notice Harry skipping out every night to train?

    It does seem as if they do a lot of training, which is good for the body. But Harry is a little boy who needs quiet time with Uncle Toby, just reading or talking and having biscuits (as an American, it is hard to call cookies "biscuits".)

    Yeah, I'm one of those no surgery would work on, unfortunately.

    As for when harry returns to the Dursleys, we'll have to see about that one.  maybe he could fake needing his glasses and wear a false pair?

    With all of the homework and studying they've had, Hermione and Ron weren't paying all that much attention to where Harry was going, he kept making up different reasons why he was leaving, but eventually Severus will slow the sessions down, with the new term and all, so harry won't be having them as frequently. 

    And there will be more times over the course of the year when Harry will seek out Sev just to talk or whatever.  And I'm an American too, and I kept writing gingerbread cookies as I wrote this, LOL!
