Aww, poor Harry! It's such a pain having to hide his relationship with Severus from everyone. I loved the part with Ron & hermione and the way harry asked her to turn in his potions homework. And the part with Lily dead nearly made me cry.
But the broom was sweet!

Wonderful! I love it when Snape goes all protective and the way harry reacted to him was great. So were the dreams, it's clear Harry's feeling a little guilty about getting into that duel now and he's probably thinking about confessing to Severus. The part with Severus and finding Harry in Godric's Hollow was brilliant too.
Author's Response: Yes he's considering it, but he won't be doing it any time soon, not after what happened the last time Severus got angry with him.

I bet Severus won't be pleased about the troll incident next chapter. And if he catches Quirrel trying to hurt Harry...well, I think the Defense position curse would come into effect before the end of the first term!
Author's Response: No, he most definitely will not and as for Quirrell, he'll be a dead man if Sev ever discovered he tried to hurt his son.

Another great chapter. I loved how Sev and Harry ate together and I wonder of one day Harry will be able to tell Snape about the planned duel? The broom sounds awesome.

good chapter! it is so sad that severus and harry have to keep their true relationship hidden. you've done a nice job of showing severus' feelings blossoming from guardian to parental.
Author's Response: It is very sad, but it's necessary right now. They have a long year ahead of them and Severus's guardianship will be tested to the limit. Though his love for Harry will never waver.
