Reviews For Arms of a Dark Angel
Author's Response: There are indeed, and only I know for sure who it is. Oh and thanks for your restraint, LOL.
Author's Response: yeah, I enjoy creating suspense, that way you have to keep reading. It's an evil author ploy. Thanks for your fantastic reviews.
Author's Response: Aww, see that's why I love writing Severus, because you can make people fall in love with him all over again.
Author's Response: Thanks and jsut wait till you read the rest. it gets better!
Author's Response: Oh, please don't, then you won't be able to find out who done it...LOL!
Love that even though Hermione is very concerned about the rules and constantly reminding the boys she still helps them in their rule braking, she is just as adventurous as the two boys Author's Response: yes he could have. Of course, that's something only the readers know, that Draco wasn't the cause of Harry's fall. However, none of the others know that, except for Severus. And you're right about Hermione, she has a good sens eof adventure, but also a good dose of common sense too. But that's something that most boys that age lack and girls have, i think.
Author's Response: Thanks and I should be posting the next one shortly! i wanted to give Draco a good reason to not show up, since whatever else he might be, I don't think he's a coward. And Snape keeping an eye on him is plenty of a reason, if he told me to stay somewhere, I'd be staying.
a good chapter, although the little bit of preaching detracts from the characterization, in my opinion. jkr (and most fanfic) has consistently portrayed snape as sarcastic, intelligent, iconoclastic, and cynical, and iconoclasticism and cynicism don't usually coincide with devout professions of christian belief. but, it's your fic, and if you think you can can believably portray snape as a christian, go for it. Author's Response: That's Harry in the last line, he's thinking of himself as a worthless impudent whelp, undeserving of being a son to anyone. I admit that it may seem odd to see Snape giving a lecture on forgiveness and bringing Christ into it, but he's not all he seems. One facet is his cynicism and sarcastic side and the other part, the secret part, is the man who desires above all to be forgiven for the sins he committed in the past. He might not go to church, but he believes firmly in the tenets of forgiveness and redemption, for he is a living example of them, Lily forgave him before she was killed, and asked him to watch over Harry and that made a huge difference, you'll learn more about that in a future chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks, I try to make my fics different from the norm.
Author's Response: Yes, Severus is enough to deter even Draco and from now on he will be watching the young Slytherin pretty closely. I agree that Draco too needs to face consequences and at least in my fics he does. As for harry and Severus, you'll see what happens to them soon. |
