Loved all the quotes in the infirmary and how you described Harry's vision with and without glasses, it was great. I hope Severus pays for his surgery, if he could afford it.
All the kids fight like typical teenagers, I've got three of them at home, so I know. Love the image of Severus tearing his hair out, boy can I sympathize!
As for Harry's smart mouth, I'm sure a good session with a bar of soap will make him think twice next time.

I loved how Harry said Snape would charge him interest for his glasses. That was too funny. But very like Severus. I wonder if Harry will mention the surgery to Severus, maybe Severus could pay for it too?
The quarrels between Ron, Hermione, and Harry and Malfoy were very good.
But man, is Harry in HUGE trouble now! Severus will probably nail his butt to the wall for saying that to his face. Ouch!

This will definitely be interesting to see. Poor Harry, life's just not going quite right for him right now, he's under a lot of pressure. And Severus had the bad timing to bring up Lily just after Malfoy had badmouthed her. Great job on this chapter :D
Author's Response: He is and so is Severus and it's about to get worse, if you remember what happens in SS. I'll be following the book in most parts here, except for a few deviations here and there. And Severus didn't hear what Malfoy said about Lily otherwise Draco would have been dead meat.
There might just be a light spanking in order. The student does not speak that way to a professor.
One thing, Voldemorte wanted the position of DADA but Dumbledore wouldn't give it to him so then Voldie cursed. He never held the position.

Author's Response: No he should not and Severus will be making damn sure he knows it too. You're right about Voldy and the DADA position, the twins were mistaken and Hermione will discover that and correct them, LOL!

Good chapter. Poor Harry, though. It's got to be hard to have Severus act one way in private and another way in public. Harry should not have been so disrespectful, of course, but I think Severus should be a little understanding of the difficulty of being Harry in this situation. Of course, Severus is a hard taskmaster and doesn't make excuses for much.
Author's Response: It is very hard on Harry and hard on Severus too, since he doesn enjoy being nasty to him, he loves him. And unfortunately, Severus is a perfectionist and doesn't tolerate much in the way of mistakes, God he reminds me of my father.
Oh boy!! I would NOT want to be in Harry's shoes right now!
Yikes, what will Snape do to him?

I loved the way Harry had to be reminded not to give himself away by smiling...too funny! And how Severus teaches him extra spells and flying maneuvers. But oh man, Harry needs to watch his flying, LOL!

Poor Severus! I can sympathise with him totally. My son is craz and reckless too and nearly gives me heart failure almost every day. But it was good that severus found out about Harry's glasses, so he can get new ones. Those rotten Dursleys!
Update soon, I want to know what's going on next!
