you are really making this premise work. i've seen this premise in a few other stories but this is uncommonly well thought out & well done. looking forward to more!

Wow! That was some lesson. I like the way you had Harry know the right answers, it makes sense that Snape would teach him potions while he was sick. And the conversation after and Severus's reassurances were perfect.
Author's Response: Thanks, I wanted Harry to at least have a basic knowledge of potions here.

Aww, I love this! Such a brilliant chapter. I love the way you intertwine the POV's it make sit so much more interesting to read that way. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I like it even more now, lol. I forgot to say that I LOVE In The Arms Of The Angel and I think It's cool that that song inspired you to write this. Brilliant job Snapegirl!
Author's Response: It was funny, I was looking at the challenges and reading the Magic Potions One when the commercial about the abused animals came on, where Sarah McLaughlin ask people to donate to the Humane Society and that song was playing, and suddenly I had this . . .vision of Snape holding a sick Harry in his arms, and after that "Arms of a Dark Angel" was born. I also put on the CD with that song on it so I could write while listening to it. It was very inspiring and I love Sarah's songs.
Wow, this is already a favorite! What a great first chapter and a wonderful response to Jan's challenge. I can not wait to read the next chapter. It looks really good so far. I'm hooked.

that was great, well done harry for his potions knowledge, credit to severus as well for teaching him when he was ill. great explaination from severus about his behaviour towards harry and that he doesn't mean any of it, i hope harry and severus have many great evenings together
