Great start,I love the way Harry puts Severus' hood back so he won't "get angry and sent him away"
Author's Response: Yeah, Harry is terrified of losing the only person who has ever showed him kindness, and so he is very careful to hide the fact that he's seen Severus's face, at least until he first meets him in the classroom.
Great job on this chapter, and on the explanations from Severus. Harry's 'voice' came through really well in the potions class, how hurt he was feeling. Thanks for the superquick update :D
Author's Response: You're welcome. harry will find that even with his knowledge that Severus doesn't mean what he says, sometimes the Potion Master's comments can still sting him, since he values Sev's opinion so much.

Oh I love it! How gorgeous! I love it when snape is nice :) good on him! Good on you too for starting another story! How do you keep churning them out so fast?
Author's Response: Umm . . .my muse just works overtime. And this one was inspired by a song I heard while on the computer, and sometimes they just hit me that way and I start writing something.

This is brilliant - I love the way Harry thinks of his 'dark angel' throughout the years, and then the meeting, where face and name are put together . . . by this are we assuming that at the Welcoming Feast, Harry didn't look closely at any of the teachers? I can't wait to see what happens next, perhaps everyone else shows up and Severus gives Harry a detention so that he can see him later, in private?
Author's Response: Yes, actually Harry has a problem seeing things at a distance, you'll learn more about that in the next chapter, when Severus discusses things with Harry. I should be working on the next chapter shortly.

That line was just awesome. It sums up perefectly the feelings Sev has for little Harry.
I can't wait to see what happens next. I hope that Severus tells Harry everything, since he's not bound by an Unbreakable Vow, is he?
Author's Response: No, it's not an Unbreakable Vow, but Severus does believe in keeping his promise, his honor would not allow him otherwise.

What a beautiful start to this story! I love how you portray Severus as the guardian angel. It fits him perfectly. I hope he tells Harry the truth.
