I adopted a young adult who had been intensely abused and this last Mother's Day he gave me a card like this essay. I was so shocked that he gave this kind of gift that I didn't even know what to say.
You have kids so you know what I mean. They can be so painful at times and make you cry and hurt. But then when they do something like Harry did you know what you did in having them or adopting them is absolutely right on.
Thanks for this chapter. You rock.

I have read and loved this story until the end. Thank you for being such a good writer and providing me with entertainment and making Harry and his adventures last a little longer.

Please do not ever doubt your writing abilities. This fic has kept me entranced from start to finish. your writing style is unique, light hearted and wholly entertaining. If you haven't already,you should look into a career as a writer. While still conveying the pertinent plot information, you added your twist and humor, which is amazing by the way. I found myself actively looking for Snape's imagined letters to various publications... sheer brilliance. don't ever stop

Good Lord, you can write! I know you have this down as a tale of hurt, etc but I haven't laughed this much in months! I have to finish the whole story and then write you a long letter on why this story is so touching to me. (I am a pastor in a Recovery Christian church filled with abused adults and kids). This...was so...sweet. I loved this chapter. God. Just...God love Harry and his innocence.
