    I feel so bad for Harry now that Shadow is dead! I hope you can bring him back quickly.

    Author's Response: Hopefully Severus will be able to look after Harry until then. I'll give you a snippet on how he's doing before the end of the story!

    OK, I've been out of town, so I'm just now reading the last 2 chapters. It's a good thing that you put the warning at the begining of the last chapter or I'd be VERY upset about the loss of Shadow (man did that HURT! Harry was SO UPSET). I'm holding you to your word that He isn't gone forever.

    I loved the flash back about Lily playing the Piano and singing. But even more the spell that freed Sev from the Dark mark!

    So, What's next? When will Shadow come back? (and in what form?) Harry is going to be very depressed for a while-I think, How will Sev handle/help with this?

    Lookign forward to your next update!

    I really liked that chapter. I hope Shadow comes back soon, I'm curious how that will work. Keep up the good work and please update ASAP. :)

    Great chapter! Loved it.

    I love Greensleeves! Have you ever heard Loreena McKennitt's version? It's the most ethereal rendition I've ever heard. (If any of you want to listen to it, it's on Youtube.)

    Can't wait for the next installment! :D

    Author's Response: Thank you! I looked it up and it was very pretty, but I think I still prefer the traditional version - I'm a sucker for harpsichord music. More should be coming soon!

    Cute and well done. Even though I'm not a ss/le shipper you almost make it seem plausible. I can't wait to see Harry's reaction to Shadow being gone and the news that Severus no longer wears the dark mark.

    Author's Response: Thank you - the whole Lily/Snape thing seemed doomed from the beginning, but I like to give them a little bit of happiness together beforehand. More should hopefully be coming soon.

    greensleeves has lyrics?? i totally didn't know that- i've only ever heard the piano version... not that THAT has anything to do with your chapter, really, just an aside... This chapter was good- more cheerful than the last one anyway- but there was no harry-snape interaction which was a bit disappointing. i mean, i know that chapters like this are necessary and i know that harry and snape will reunite soon, for lack of better words, but all the same... can't wait for your next installment. ~Cait

    Author's Response: I knew it had lyrics, but I couldn't quite remember what they were so I looked them up for everyone. There will be plenty of Harry/Snape next chapt, have no fear! Thanks for reviewing!

    I like very much!

    That was so sweet. I wanted to cry though when Lily left Sev. I really love his story, my heart aches for Harry and I hope that this can all be worked out.

    Ièm not sure I really understand about Shadow though, is he a real person now? So Sev has TWO sons, not just Harry?

    Author's Response: Yes, Shadow is a real person and you'll get a little snippet of him before I move onto the next story. Poor Sev - by the time Shadow gets back, he'll only just have got used to the idea of one son! I'm glad you liked the chapter, thanks for reviewing!

    Shadow better not be dead. Even though you said you don't kill off people in your stories, this chapter made me cry. Keep up the good work and please update ASAP.:)

    Author's Response: Don't worry, he's not dead. That part made me cry when I was writing it and I knew what was going to happen! The next update will hopefully come soon - it's Snape's turn now.
