Wow, made me cry, great story!

    Author's Response:

Sorry for the sadness - I promise next chapter will be lighter. Thanks for reviewing!

Awww, Shadow gone. That was SAD. I wonder if someone can LIVE in a Pensieve (but it does not matter, as Dumble taken memories away by Obliviate, not into a Pensieve.) Update? Mila

Author's Response: That's an interesting idea - it won't be what happens, but it's definitely worth thinking about and possibly putting in a fic! It's funny, after this last chapter hardly anyone has asked me to update soon - I think they're all scared about what I might do next! But anyway: Sev and Lils get their turn next chapter and hopefully it'll end on a much more positive note. Thanks for reviewing!

Thankyou for your Author's Note. It helped a lot because I was crying as soon as I realised that Shadow had to be separated from Harry. And bless Severus for the way he handled the situation. It is obvious that he cares more for Harry's well being than anything else now, because there were several instances throughout this chapter where the Snape from the books who despises Harry could have said and done some awful hurtful things. It was so good to see Severus being a Dad and putting his child first, though I know he had to have a lot of issues to deal with about it.

I'm looking forward othe rest of the story. Bravo and well done!

Author's Response: I'm sorry about the sad part - the way I planned the story in the beginning, Shadow was just meant to be a source of information, not a person. I ended up crying myself when I wrote that bit and I knew it had to happen anyway! But, anyway, it's Snape's turn next chapter and hopefully that will end on a more positive note. Thanks for reviewing!

Nope. Not to sappy at all but very, very fun and sweet.

Author's Response: Thank you - that's what I was aiming for, but it did strike me that some people may not think Snape is the tickling type! Well my Snape is - heh.

I really like your story. The only criticism is that you use the term schizophrenia - as I know only too well people often associate the term with a split personality disorder (which you seem to do too) and therefore promote the misconstrued belief that if you're scizophrenic you must have a split personality. That is not so.

Author's Response: Ah, thank you; that's very interesting - I suppose it could be said that Harry was 'hallucinating' as well, but it doesn't quite fit the story in the instance, so thanks for pointing that out!

Author's Response: It'll be a while before he and Harry get back together, but I will be giving bits and pieces on how he's doing!

“From the second that the release spell was cast, from the second the fourteen year old started looking like the boy in the water – the child’s friend, his companion, his ‘brother’… ceased to exist.”

The thing that's wrong with this is that Harry has already started to resemble Shadow before the spell was cast. You wrote that Snape noticed his hair changing a couple chapters back while Harry was asleep. Why did Harry start to make the transformation before Dumbledore cast the spell?

I'm hoping that this has something to do with how Shadow comes back to life. I'll admit that I'm still slightly confused about the Greek story and will probably go back and read it again. I'm glad that Harry is safe though and that Shadow will somehow live. I think it would be cool if eventually Shadow got his own body and went to live with Harry and Snape: Harry could have a twin! That would be super cool.

Anyway, I do feel bad about Harry's suffering. He lost someone very dear to him and that's got to hurt. I'm surprised that Severus took everything so well too. I thought he'd have more of a reaction to finding out that Harry has been talking to a different version of himself for quite some time now. I hope you go into his thoughts about the situation and his new fatherhood in the next chapter.

    Good work!

    -P.G.

Author's Response: ... Drat! You always notice the little plot points people aren't supposed to remember until much later! Kudos to you though. Harry's 'twin' will resurface again, but not after I get Harry into a whole lot of new trouble in the next story. I hope you aren't confused about the Greek stuff the second time round, but if you are, let me know and I would be happy to try and explain it all! Severus will get his turn next chapter, I promise. Thanks for your lovely, long review!

ugh that was depressing.... only thing that keeps me from being pissed at you is the fact that you keep saying he'll come back- i'll be rather peeved if that's a lie... *grudgingly* it WAS a good chapter, though. Snape seemed to catch on quick to being Harry's father. He didn't seem upset by it, really, but then again, there were other things for him to deal with at the time

Author's Response: I made myself utterly miserable writing this chapter! But, don't worry; Shadow is alive and kicking, he's just... elsewhere at the moment. Snape will get his turn next chapter and I hope that one will be a little nicer to read than this one was!

If Shadow is not dea, could that be dangerous for Harry though?

Aw, I don't know how to feel. On one hadn, I'm glad that Snape knows that Harry is his son, on the other hand, I 'm sad that Harry losts Shadow!

Author's Response: Not in this case, but it could have been - you shall see! I made myself sad writing this chapter, but I will cheer things up again after Snape's had his say. Thanks for reviewing!

Great chapter! Can't wait for more!

    Author's Response: Thank you - it's Snape's turn next!
