loved this story It is moving a little slow for me but I am sure you have a reason. Not the action as in slow but the plot line, severus finding out part.

Author's Response: I planned to make it so that Severus would find out right at the very end... and the end is fast approaching now! He'll find out soon! I'm glad you like it anyhow.

Oh no, the end is soon! I hate when good fics come to an end, though I am excited to find out what happens. I wonder if Dumbledore has known about Harry and Snape all along...I hope not. Snape would probably rip him a new one if he did.

Please update soon! I really like this fic!

Author's Response: I'm very flattered that you think my story's good - thank you. I'm still a little stunned as to how many people like it. But anyway - sequels are being planned, so don't worry too much. The one thing that annoys me about the Harry/Snape genre is that Dumbledore is almost always portrayed as the bad guy because it's easy for people to write. However, my Dumbledore will be written as decent, even if he is a little manipulative...

Wow, a tickle fest with Snape? That is a bit sappy, I have to admit. Now you've got me curious about how Severus might discover Harry is his son in an unusual way. It's really ironic that it's right there in front of him and that Harry said it so blatantly out loud.

    -P.G.

Author's Response: Ach well, I was aiming for enjoyable as asposed to plausible anyway! However, it is something I would have imagined Lily forcing Severus to do during they're childhood - heh, maybe he was channeling Lily! I love using irony, it's so much fun to play about with in stories. Thanks for reviewing!

    The end? Oh no!

Then you'll just have to write a sequel, now won't you?

Author's Response: Don't worry, that's just what I have planned anyway!

I wonder how Harry is going to tell Snape about their connection. I also like that the swear he made at the beginning of the fic seems to be tugging at Snape's heart every time he gets closer to discovering his parentage.

    -P.G.

Author's Response: I'm glad you noticed that bit - not everyone picked up on it! Hopefully it will be a rather unusual way that Snape finds out about Harry...

That was good--Interesting twist at the end with Harry's hair changing. I wonder how fast he'll morph into who he really is and what will happen to Shadow once he's changed. It would be kinda cool if they started to look like the other more and more with every passing day.

    -P.G.

P.S. I'm glad that you've decided not to give Snape's son dark hair. Everyone assumes that he would naturally look a lot like Snape when he turns out to be his son, which may not have been true.

Author's Response: Thank you - it drives me mad the number of fics in which Harry has black hair only, and another funny thing about the Potterverse - have you noticed how most everyone's either BLONDE, BLACK, or RED haired? weird.

Poor Harry! He always gets into the worst scraps, even when he tries to stay out of trouble.
And Severus reacted like a parent, not a teacher. I guess he will be pleased when he learns that Harry really is his son (even if he grumbles a little first).
I loved Salem's reaction when the boys went flying.“By my scalesss!" this is a very good exclamation, and I loved it.
After this accident, Harry will have to explain everything to Severus, and it should make the school year easier for the both of them.
I really enjoyed this chapter :)

    Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked Salem's bit - that amused me too. Yes, Harry always seems to attract trouble no matter what he does - oh well, at least he's got Snape on his side now, he's going to need him! Harry will reveal all soon (with Dumbledore's help of course!) Thanks for reviewing!

OK, so Snpae is acting like a Dad now--Thinking and reacting like one. So NOW do we get the conversation about the fact that they are Father and son? (this was a great chapter! Harry really needs to open up to Sev and warn him about his out of control magic! And Shadow too!)

More soon please! (The end!?!? don't make me cry!)

Author's Response: I promise, promise, promise that all of that will happen soon! Dumbledore has all the answers - blame him! I'll let you in on a little secret (well, not really, I just haven't let anyone know yet) this story's going to become the first of a series, so I won't be abandoning Harry, Shadow and Snape any time soon!

Ha! Worse than the Weasley twins then! I love it!

Author's Response: Hehehe, glad you agree! Severus must have been so hopping mad!
