    Another update so soon! this is great!
    And I loved this chapter, I loved the fluff, I live for the fluff... and I really understand Harry and Severus, cooking always make me feel better too...

    Author's Response: I thought everyone deserved it after the bombshell I dropped chapter 12... Great fun next chapter - Sev even gets to chase an irate Dumbledore!

    Great chapter! Uh oh, Harry didn't tell Severus about the book absorbing into his skin! Can't wait to find out what it means! Also, I love how Severus is beginning to care for Harry. Looking forward to the next chapter!

    Author's Response: He was with Harry - Snape didn't notice though! No Dumbles bashing I'm afraid - but Snape does shout at him a bit!

    Aw, poor Harry. First he is abused by the Durselys, now Snape hits him too! And it sounds like he spanked him hard too. But at least Snape sounds like he feels remorse for doing it, and he only did it because he was worried for Harry's safety. Kind of sweet really. I hope that Snape won't hit him again though.

    Despite the spanking, I love this chapter, we really get an insight into Snape's feelings towards Harry, and Harry's feelings of his own self-worth. Very well done. I'm sorry that I didn't review before, as I couldn't get my keyboard to work for some reason. But I had read it as soon as I saw it there.

    I'm very anxious to see where the story is going.

    Author's Response: I do feel sorry for Harry too - I didn't write the chapter for the spanking, I wrote it for setting up the consequences, so won't have to worry about it happening again! I'm glad your keyboard is better and thanks for reviewing!

    Sorry, my keyboard wasn't working but I love this chapter, and I will go back and review the previous one.

    Ah, I just love the interaction between Snape and Harry, and Shadow and Harry. Ok, did that make sense? I simply love the story, and I am glad that Snape is softening somewhat towards Harry.

    Can't wait for the next chapter!

    this is my favourite chapter so far!
    What was that book? Snape hasn't told Harry and I wonder : was it a Dark arts book or something else entirely?
    I'm glad Harry and Snape are getting on now, Harry could really use a reliable adult.
    I guess the broken mirror was Shadow quarreling with Harry... I'm sure he is furious because he didn't want Harry to look inside the box. Will Snape discover Shadow's presence? it could lead to him discovering Harry's powers...

    That's great to hear! The book isn't Dark Arts - it's something Snape thinks he has no use for... but he is wrong. It will be explained in later chapters.

    Have a chocolate frog! You've got it in one! Snape will find out about Shadow in the last few chapters of the story, leaving plenty of time for confusion and puzzlement in between... Thanks for reviewing!

    My favorite qoute in this cahpter is when Snape says to Harry:"There's that cheeky brat that I know and loathe." I love the way that your slowly making Snape realize that he cares for Harry. Alot of other authors tend to rush into these feeling instead of letting it graudally build up. Your a great writer and your quickly became one of my favorites. Keep writing and I'll be anxiously awaiting for a new chapter.
