    My goodness woman, your fingers must be cramping over your keyboard you're giving so many lovely chapters at one time. I began this story a couple of weeks ago...only because you're the author and I love A Shocking Discovery so much. Both this and "Discovery" are among the best of the best father/guardian/mentor fics, and stand head and shoulders over many of what are generally considered the "best of the best." Thank you for such well-written, well-plotted stories and regular updates. And, thank you for the recent multiple chapters of this fic -- what a pleasant surprise, like Christmas come early. Nevertheless, you are a wicked woman for leaving us with this cliff hanger!

    Thank you Coconut Rum for your very kind words. I am honoured that you rate me up ther with the best of the best. Very heartening words, I must say, because sometimes I really doubt my own ability, especially when there is not very much feedback.

    I do have to tell you though, that as much as I wish I could write as quickly as you credit me with being able to do, I cannot! The story is written up to chapter 28, so, once I upload up to there, updates will be much slower.

    Sorry for the cliffie, but you won't have a terribly long wait.

    definately think adrian just got raped...if it is, i hope you'd just add the warning...who could it be? Vernon Dursly maybe? maybe he didnt pass away..

    I think you mean Aidan. And I didn't put up a warning for a very good reason. Sorry if the lack of a warning upset you, but even if a rape occurred (and I am not saying it did) I would certainly not have written it.

    And Vernon didn't pass away...Petunia and dudley did. I did say that earlier. Vernon is recovering from his injuries at this time.

    i dont like the way you are portraying harry in this he seems much too much like draco, harry's greatest quality is that he does not become bitter because he has the power to LOVE

    I don't think I have ever been so insulted in my life! Comparing Harry With draco...purlease! I loathe Draco Malfoy.

    I don't ever recall Harry trying to hex someone when his back was turned, or try to get a teacher sacked by making a minor injury into a major one and milking sympathy for all it was worth, or trying to have na innocent creature killed because of he knew how much it would upset someone else.

    Harry is angry, here, yes. He says some sill things. But he also recants some of those things. He is concerned that DD looks so weary and that he is causing him more problems. And he is serious in his desire to leave the wizarding world because he does not want to see his friends hurt. Draco would think of himself before he would think of any of his friends.

    So, though I am sorry you do not like Harry in this story, I have to disagree strongly that he is acting like Draco. It is precisely because Harry can love that he is going to leave his friends...to protect them.

    Harry is a sixteen year old boy who has not exactly had a stellar life up to now; he is angry and I think his anger is justified. Most teenagers get angry for no reason...I should know, I have had five of them! HArry has plenty of reason and one of the main things that makes Harry different to Draco, is that he is always sorry for hte pain he causes.

    End of rant. By now, I hope you have read more and that Harry may have been vindicated in your eyes somewhat.

    I have been told that I made a mistake with the Frogs and I hope it was not on this fic or any fic for that matter.
    I love this fic, it's well pucker. And I'm amazed that you can write so fast.

    Don't worry about the mistake. But I wonder if you realise that the rating is up to ten. And that equates to the five frogs that show up next to the chapter. IE: if you want to give a story four frogs, you would rate it at eight. Don't ask me why...stupid system.

    Glad you like the fic though. And I am sorry to say, I can't write as fast as you are imaging I can write. I have written up to chapter 28 of this story. But I did not start posting here until quite recently. Therefore I had a big backlog of chapters to put up.

    Thank you so much for your review. Glad you liked the ending. I was blown away by the number of cat lovers there are out there. It seeme that people were more concerned about Pumpkin than they were the humans in the story.

    Snape saved the day. Go Severus. Who'd have thought that the irrascible Potions master was a cat lover?
