    I always get so excited when this story updates. It was a little bit sad this time (well, a lot, poor Harry) but it is so well written and interesting and I really love this dynamic of Snape wanting to get to know Harry (well, now he does) and Harry being resistant... it feels like such a realistic, accurate portrait of a situation that I can imagine it being real. I'm glad Harry finally "shared" something with Snape even though he couldn't say it verbally.

    Also your parting shot with Severus' letter was fantastic.

    Author's Response: I'm so glad you like it! I got a couple not-so-happy reviews for this chapter so it's really nice to hear that you liked it. Hopefully things will be happier in a chapter or so. (I'm working on it!)

    OH MY GOSH YOU UPDATED.

    I only got as far as all the boring Transfiguration technicalities, where Harry is like "I am totally awesome and don't realize it" and McGonagall is like "....right. Why me. Why me." or something along those lines BUT I REALLY REALLY NEED TO FINISH MY NOVEL.

    But golly gee whiz you updated. And not very far from the last one, too! YAAY!!

    I'll read this later. I promise.

    Harry's behavior is appalling; I seriously can't stand him anymore. He doesn't need someone to let him spout off any swearword he wants. And if that's what he needs, then get him the help he requires, because Snape's not going to do it.

    I understand that you characterized Harry as damaged and abused, but there is nothing likeable about this kid at all; I'm sorry. It's hard to even get through a chapter anymore.

    Author's Response: Very well. I appreciate the review, because it alerted me to the fact that the profanity in the one scene was overdone, but I personally blame Snape for the outburst, if anyone - he pushed too hard. And he's allowed that sort of language, in that room, at that time, because he's much less likely to talk otherwise. I'm sorry you find Harry unlikable, but I disagree with you about his behavior. (Of course I do, I wouldn't write him that way if I didn't, right?) Harry feels that he is defending himself. From that perspective, what would otherwise be considered appalling behavior is somewhat justified. A character doesn't have to be easy to get along with to be appealing. I can't please everybody, I guess.

    I really love this story. It took me the better part of two days to read and I am finally caught up. This story was all I could think about while at work today, congrats you got me hooked. :) Keep up the good work and please update ASAP. :)

    I loved this chapter, especially at the point when Snape got mad at the prefect.

    I really like this story. I love the very moody Harry. This story is very well written. Sadly I have to quit reading for the night because I have to work... Grr hate working weekends.

    Meaty IC characters. Great plot. Well written, good pace, counts as a "ROR" fic -- well done indeed. Dumbledore an arse -- excellently IC. No more chapters. OMFG NO, IT CAN'T BE!

    First,I gotta say I love the bunnies.
    This was another great chapter,I especially liked the kids planning their "club",thanks for making me laugh.

    Author's Response: LOL yey!! Glad you like my fic and my bunnies. I originally developed them as a way to avoid the smileys that facebook, skype, and lots of other methods of IMing replace normal smileys with. I wanted something that NONE of them would interpret as a smiley, and thereby came up with bunnies. And the rest is history...lol, anyway, thanks for the review!!
