    Ooh yay to updates! I was just looking at my tracked stories yesterday hoping that you would soon and you did :D I found myself feeling sorry for that poor prefect lol, I would not want an angry Snape coming at me :)

    Author's Response: LOL yeah, poor Rosalind. I maintain that she deserved it - she should keep better track of the first years when she's on duty - but Snape was rather harsh. LOL it puts Ron's reaction to how 'nice' Snape is to Harry in perspective. :0) Thanks for the review!!

    I really love this story. I just reread it up to this point for the third or fourth time. Keep it up and update again soon!

    This was so good! I'm actually really scared for Severus now- I hope nothing happens to him.

    I felt sorry for Rosalind, not much fun being a Slytherin prefect at times. The whole rant about the house insignia was very Snape.

    Can't wait for the next chapter :)

    Seriously, that was a good chapter. I'm worried that Harry and co. can't recognise the teenage Snape, even though they can deduce that he's not a death eater... funny.

    Oh, and Ron's tentative, 'not everyone calls him that' was most amusing. More please!

    Author's Response: Yey!! Glad you like. I figure Snape in that photo was young - 12 or 13 years old? - and so less recognizable. He may not've even had the characteristic hooked nose, yet. Lol glad you liked it, and I'll get the next out when I can - I know it's been slow, lately, but winter break is coming up, and I've got some real plans for the next 4-5 chapters, so hopefully things'll pick up. :0)

    Harry's character is really likeable; the perfect mix of vulnerability and independence, childishness and maturity.
    I love Snape as well - a more mild take on his character, but very well done.
    I love the interaction between characters as well - Harry's friends have great personalities, especially Theo.
    The humor in this story is great too - clever and rich, and it flows so well with the serious parts.
    The effect of Dursley abuse on Harry is really interesting - it's different!
    Everything about this is really well done - it's a real gem in fanfiction!
