    When are you updating again? I don't want to be annoying, and it hasn't even really been that long, but i like to know beforehand, so I can be like OMFG ANOTHER CHAPTER COMES OUT TODAY FANGIRL!SQUEAL and yeah.

    Author's Response: Yeah sorry it's gonna be a little while. I have a really, really great book and so haven't started the chapter yet. I guess I'm taking a break. However, the fic is NOT abandoned, and I WILL post within the next week or so, so no worries. And don't worry about 'being annoying' - it's flattering, actually, that people are anxious to have me update. :-)

    Are you going to have Harry find a portrait of Salazar Slytherin and have him talk to him? Maybe have Sev find him doing it? I always wondered why JKR didn't have Harry doing that.

    I have just one question: where was the real Percy Weasley?

    I am not sure I like Severus ordering the near death of a student, no matter how much of a bully he is. A bully, yes, but still only 15 years old. I am sure that Harry would quickly work out what happened and who ordered the beating especially as the injuries were similar to his own. Not really much of an example. I also don't agree that all the other teachers worship the Gryffindors, which is why Severus gives them a hard time. Minerva, head of Gryfindor,does not favour her own house. Snape, head of Slytherin doesfavour his own house blatantly, and not just as opposed to Gryffindors but Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff as well. And if there are students in Slytherin capable of doing what they did to Flint, well, is it any wonder that they have a bad reputation.

    Well, apart from all that, there was the usual wonderful interaction between Sev and Harry.

    Author's Response: Hey Lesley! That question will be answered in the next chapter, this chapter was just getting too long for it. As for Sev, he's a Death Eater. I'm sure he's done worse, just to keep his position. Teachers worshiping the Gryffindors is Sev's POV, not mine. Hopefully that'll change, but I've got to work with canon and there's no getting around the fact that the man's prejudiced. Anyway, glad you like the rest of it, and thanks for the review. :-)

    Author's Response: LOL yeah that'll happen eventually. I have to wait until it's not entirely unrealistic that he'd flip out about it, so it'll probably wait until around canon Halloween. We'll see. Thanks for the review!!

    Hello! I really enjoy this fic, but where is Voldemort? I mean, I know he possesed Quirrel but when is Harry going to confront him? I'd really like to see the fic converge with the first book plot!

    Author's Response: Glad you like it, and sorry for the wait on the Voldemort issue. The problem I'm facing is that in canon, Harry doesn't get very far at all with Quirrel before Halloween, and we haven't gotten there, yet. I'd speed it up, but I'm trying to follow canon while not missing the first crucial months of the Harry/Sev relationship. If you have any suggestions to fix it, I'm all ears. I've asked my beta about it but neither of us have any ideas. :-) Thanks for reviewing! Rhiannan

    Uhmmm...Yeah. I really really love the entirety of this story, it's brilliant, and amazing, and 'Horus Slughorn' SHOULD be 'Horace Slughorn'.
