Reviews For Life as Dictated by a Talking Hat
And..this pencil with no lead if you update soon? -pleading look- I think I'll read this chapter again instead of reviewing. Author's Response: LOL I like my imaginary butterscotches. I should post a sign: 'Will work for imaginary candies and pencils.' Thanks for your continued reviews (and butterscotches)!! Rhiannan
*blink, blink* I... don't know what to say. Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm glad you said something anyway!! :-P
Author's Response: Yeah especially when one of her Lions (or pseudo-Lions) is involved! LOL Thanks for reviewing.
Bravo. V. Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it!
It was nice to see Minerva and Severus trying to help Harry together and I think Sev has finally gotten a clue that it's not him personally Harry is scared of, but what he is . . .a man. And more importantly, a man of authority. Harry doesn't have a good frame of reference towards authoritative males given what he went through. Hopefully that will change. Author's Response: :-) We'll see. Thanks for reviewing!
I approve your choice of Shakespeare plays as a former English teacher. One of my original novels is actually set in that time period and features the Bard himself and a young runaway girl who hides herself from her abusive husband in his theater company. I wonder why they don;t do plays at Hogwarts? Think of the cool special effects. Sinistra's just awful too! Why is she like that? Author's Response: Huh, how did I miss responding to this? You're right on both counts for the plays, of course. 12th night is my personal favorite. I don't actually like Macbeth all that much - I prefer Hamlet and the Taming of the Shrew. Some people thought it a little unrealistic that I have an eleven-year-old reading Shakespeare, but then I managed as a kid. It just takes a certain patience and willingness to work to figure out the language. They really should do plays at Hogwarts. That would be beyond fun. Sinestra's attitude will (probably) be explained at some point. Mostly, I think, she's just a bitch. lol thanks for reviewing!!
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you like it. :-) Working on the next already. It's a little tough 'cause nothing happens in canon in the month of October before Halloween, so it might be slow. Things between Harry and Sev should be okay now, though. (I hope. It all depends on Harry, of course.)
Author's Response: :-) Glad you like it. Working on the next. I've run out of canon, so updates will probably come a little slower for awhile. Thanks for reviewing!! :-)
~Frosty Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!! I'm glad you like it! Yeah I feel bad for Ron, too. The whole weekend?! But that's what Molly said and I follow her lead. lol
I was surprised by McGonagal's slap...I'm not saying it was wrong...but it was a bit much between long-term colleagues. But it did add some drama to the scene and seemed to illustrate for Harry Snape's forbearance and remorse. Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! Yeah I just felt like McGonagall was pissed off enough to hit Sev. I think of them as more than colleagues - they are both in the Order, for example, so they know each other quite well in various contexts. W/e thanks for reviewing!! |
