One interesting point about your fic that was never touched on in canon; Harry doesn't trust grown-ups very much. He tends to deal with problems on his own, rather than asking a 'trusted teacher'. Harry had no one to trust before coming to Hogwarts, so he keeps that up.

Your fic takes this point, and shows off what could have happened had Harry been forced to face this fact.

I'm interested to see where you take this.

I think Macbeth and 12th Night are the two plays you refer to.

Harry was a lot less confrontational in this chapter. He is beginning to get the message I think. That horrid potion must have some magical component in it to stop the hapless miscreant from vomiting. I am sure that something that foul being held in the mouth for so long would definitely induce vomiting in normal circumstances.

Is there a particular reason (besides Harry's charming nature) why Sinestra has it in for Harry? Just wondering.

Author's Response: Yup, you're right about the plays. And Sinestra is just a bitch who can't handle Harry's rudeness. I'm inclined to agree about the potion. Yuck! :0) Rhiannan

I loved the verbal sparing in this. I had to LOL on several occasions. I don't know whether I want to smack Harry (and not cause him harm) or hug him. Probably both, but I would probably get a punch for my efforts. The child is infuriating. But even more infuriating is what thosae Muggles have done to him to make him think he is so very worthless.

And Severus just keeps plodding on. Harry's just got to realise that Snape is as determined as he is. I can only hope that things do improve between the two. I hope they improve to the point where HArry actually comes to regard Severus as a friend as well as a protector.

Bliase is a good friend. It was disconcerting to think of him crying in the grounds. These kids seem so grown up, I had forgotten they are only eleven.

Loving it. And I can go straight onto the next chapter as I was late getting to this one.

    Lesley~

Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm glad you liked it! Yeah Harry's infuriating. He'll get there, though...eventually. _____I also like Blaise. I feel bad for him, dealing with Harry, sometimes. Harry's lucky he's so patient!

Another chapter! Yay! Shakespeare is always fun, I know that one of your plays was Macbeth (crazy people are fun!), I'm not sure what the other one was.I enjoyed this chapter and look forward to seeing what happens next!

Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for your review!! The other play was Twelfth Night - my personal favorite. :0)

Macbeth and Twelfth Night, obviously! Personally, I'd think Harry's a little young to have read Shakespeare on his own - perhaps he read an abridged copy =P

Shape washing Harry's mouth out with the potion for saying he's a freak still seems a little odd to me, but I guess whatever works... and Harry feels a little too angry. I don't know. But hey, he's your Harry, and you know what you're doing with him, so I'll let it go.

Liked the stuff with Blaise - can we have something with Ron next time? Ooh, can Ron and HArry have a fight? That would be a spectacle and a half - Weasley temper vs. Harry's 10 years of bottled up anger...

    :P Just a suggestion!

Author's Response: Actually, I read the Taming of the Shrew when I was in fourth grade- younger than Harry, and understood it relatively well. Harry's in a particularly bad mood this chapter, so maybe that's what you don't like. He's got way too much to think about to not have it affect him. LOL I like your suggestion. I'll think about it. Thanks for the review!! Rhiannan

I will say Macbeth is one. As far as pranks, what about when he opens a book he becomes covered with an exploding powder that turns him neon colors off and on for a week?

Author's Response: Yup, Macbeth is one. The other is Twelfth Night, my personal favorite. And your prank suggestion is a good one. (Can't promise that I'll use it, 'cause things kinda turn out how they turn out, but I'll consider it :-) )Thanks for your review!!

Oh Geesh. Shakespeare is not my forte. Uh pranks, I think that you've thought of them all!

I really love the way that Severus is handling Harry. Hopefully, he'll continue to come around. I sincerely hope that Harry can go with Severus some how, and never return to the Dursleys.

Awesome, well written. What more can I say about this story, but I love it.

Author's Response: Thanks!!! I'm glad you like it so much!! Rhiannan

Awesome chapter... Awesome story. I'm not into Shakespeare, but you could have Flint in girls clothing during Potions...

Author's Response: LOL That could be good...I'll explore the idea. :-) Thanks for the review!! B0)
