Awesomeness! But so sad... I feel so bad for Harry, the poor guy is just devastated right now over Sirius... I'm glad Severus was there for him and talked Harry through his grief and guilt. He really is a wonderful guardian :) I say he gets an award after all this! *nods*

I'm wishing him all the luck in finding the cure for Sirius! Hunt that evil b*tch Bellatrix down Severus, and drag the counter-curse out of her twisted head! Ahem, got a little carried away there, lol. I just hate seeing Harry so upset…

I wonder how the talk with Dumbledore will go, and how they‘ll handle this new prophecy?

    Author's Response:

Me too, the poor kid never catches a break.  Severus knew that he was needed and managed to put aside his reserve and be there for Harry when he needed him.  Sev would laugh at that, but I agree--he should get an award.

Yes, yes, he should do that, all right! And he will!

You'll see, the talk is going to be a . . .bit emotional!

Aww, poor Harry! I love though that he finally went to Severus and let his mentor comfort him and Sev being all overprotective was the best! Can't wait to see what Harry says to Dumbledore.

Author's Response: Thanks.  I should have the next chapter posted soon!

Awww, poor Sirius! And poor Harry! I loved the interaction between Sev n Harry, it was very well played out! and now the headmaster is back, though im really not sure if that's a good thing or not...

    Author's Response:

It might not be a good thing for Harry considering what Dumbledore did to him and his parents.  I'm happy you liked the Harry and Sev interaction here, because the next chapter will be only Harry and Dumbledore.

Great chapter! I loved how they killed Voldy, the battle was awesome. I loved Sev's Animagus form too and can't wait for the next chapter! The prophecy was great too.

Author's Response: Thanks, i wasn;t sure at first if I should have Voldy die, but in the endit seemed to fit better with the plot line.

SQUEEEE! Severus is so delightfully sweet here. (don't tell him that I said that;])
I love Severus and Harry interaction.
Now, about Sirius. He will not be insane and he will not die. How do I know this? I'm all knowing :P.
I'm looking forward to Sev's revenge on LeStrange. mwahahahaha

    Author's Response:

    I won't, but I think he knows!

great, because I was a little iffy on it.

    oh you are, are you?

    We'll see.

And the revenge on Bella will be sweet!

I was hoping that Harry would want Severus to try to help Sirius, but I never thought of him finding Bellatrix. I love it and can't wait for the next post.

Author's Response: Well, I figured it'd be neat to watch Sev pry info out of a reluctant Bella.  And then maybe hex her and Obliviate her.  And I wouldn't leave Sirius insane, that's too cruel!

So good--I'm glad Severus was able to comfort Harry and has the patience to deal with him during his time of grief. It really makes me happy that Harry has someone to depend on now. You've done a very good job at portraying Harry's sorrow and how much Sev cares. Good work!

Author's Response: Thanks, it was hard writing this because I could see how badly Harry felt and I didn;t want Severus to come off as too sappy.  But Harry will always have Severus to depend on now. And he knows it.  Also, Sev is the ONLY one Harry trusts to see him cry.

I like the battle-- it was exciting and fast moving, but not difficult to follow. Battles with multiple fighters can be tricky to narrate, but this went well.
I like Sev's form-- I feel like the story has been building up to it. Voldemort, though... I'm not as excited about. It seems inevitable that he would be a reptile, so it's never a surprise when it happens. It was useful for him to change so that the hawks could rip him apart, but that's exactly why it seems like something he wouldn't do. Why change to a more vulnerable form? How could he afford to not be able to cast spells when facing Dumbledore? He could have just put a boot on Siri's throat to threaten him. But far be it from me to rain all over the victory parade-- it was nice to see Voldy torn in half. Heck, it was great to see that whole scene rewritten as if a group of intelligent people had a coordinated plan (as opposed to the SNAFU in cannon).

Author's Response: That's true, I didn't want to do too many perspectives because it might have confused people, plus I was mostly  narrating it from Freedom/Harry's POV.  You're right, Severus was always intended to be a hawk Animagus.  As for Voldy, I left him a reptile because of the outward characteristics he displays in the books, but I didn't want him to be a snake since that was too obvious.  Why did he transform? He didn;t notice the hawks, he was too busy fighting Albus to pay attention to them, and he was tired as well from fighting the old wizard, almost exhausted his magic, so he used his other form to intimidate and threaten Albus because he knew that Albus would be very upset if Sirius died.  In short, Voldy got cocky and he paid for it.  I'm glad you liked the way I re-did this, I always thought it was ridiculous that the Order couldn't move their asses fast enought to prevent the whole thing and not let kids go and fight criminals.

Awesome! You go Severus and harry! I loved the way they gave it to Voldy! Warrior and Freedom forever! But I hope Sirius will be all right!

Author's Response: Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed Warrior's appearance and Freedom's too.  As for Sirius . . .only time will tell.

Oh! Poor Sirius, and just when he wasn't being such a dolt too.... I enjoyed the battle scene and look forward to more!
    ~Frosty

Author's Response: Thanks! I know, just when things start to look up . . .but it'll work out! More is up now!
