Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: Thanks I tried hard to make it seem real. Hope you like the next one!
Boy you do Sirius' teenage-style angst well!! I wanted to pop Sirius one *right* in the kisser--! He's an otherwise (probably; jury's still out for me) intelligent man, who goes into meltdown at the mere mention of his arch-nemesis... ::snort:: His Att-i-tude ought'a last a good few chapters! ::whips out a bottle of Valium and offers it for Harry and Severus--just in case Severus is running low on Calming Draught as well as time to brew more:: I really enjoyed Harry letting Sirius have it, though--the git deserves a good yelling-at, at the *very* least. Remus' reaction ought to be rather fun, too, at least in how it will likely set Sirius off yet again! I'll bet Sirius is gonna go spare on Snape yet again during the Order meeting. >=] I know, I know--that's a sucker bet...::rubbing hands gleefully and settling back to wait for next chapter:: Author's Response: Oh yeah, he's like erupting all over! Run away! Run away! Thanks, I used my own nephew as a model, LOL! Sev and Harry thank you, they're going to need it. He does indeed and Remus will be getting his arse yelled at too. Uh yeah that'll probably happen. The next one's up.
Author's Response: yes, that's true, because a cat usually has markings about her eyes and they can look like spectacles. But I've never seen a hawk with a lightning bolt on its head. Too distinctive markings would make an Animagus too easy to identify and to me that defeats the purpse of a form. An Animagus should be able to blend into the natural world and become invisible so to speak. That's the great advantage of a shape shifter, after all. They make great spies.
Author's Response: Thank you very much!
Author's Response: Thank you! Hope you enjoy the rest of it!
Author's Response: Yes, he was. He never really grew up in canon. Harry hopes Sirius will eventually understand, but it will take awhile.
Good chapter--I was so surprised that Harry attacked Sirius! That would be pretty scary. I had a bird attack me once and I can only imagine what it's like to have a huge hawk up in your face! -P.G. Author's Response: Well, you'll see soon. I'm working on that part now. I never liked him dying any way. Yes, it was, but Siri did deserve it. Thanks!
Author's Response: yes I know. You'll see! he may or may not.
Author's Response: he does indeed. Needs a good mallet from behind!
I sympathize with both parties here; both Sirius and Severus. Being a favorite target for bullying in school, it drives me bonkers that Sirius cant get it through his head and understand what Harry’s saying. Though, I imagine it must be hard to swallow for Sirius, watching his godson seemingly choose someone he hates over him. *sighs* I'll cross my fingers for him, Sirius does care for Harry after all, and I’d think that alone would push him to try for his godson. I loved Remus’s words though; "Sirius," Remus reproved. "Are you an Order member or a sulky child?" My sentiments exactly , hehe. I think one problem with Sirius is that he followed James blindly for so long, much like Crabbe used to with Malfoy. I wonder how the Order meeting will go? Harry sure seemed excited to finally be able to join in. Can’t wait as always to read more ^_^ Author's Response: It is really bothering him. He is trying his best to remain impartial. See, I went through the same kind of thing as Severus too and I learned that those who bully others don;t understand what it does to you until they've had iit done to them. "Yes, he does care for Harry and that might save him and allow him to compromise. Remus does have a way with words. That was very true, although I think Sirius sometimes instigated things too. You can check out the Order Meeting now! |
