Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! Yes Minerva does have her moments. They will make up, eventually.
I loved how Severus called Freedom back to him and told him to transform back into Harry. :) And how Harry is now his new Potions Apprentice!! Awesome. I have a feeling that Harry shouldn't be transforming though unless a teacher tells him he can, just in case he has another accident. Great chapter and I am so glad that you updated and that Umbridge is gone for good!! I wonder if any of the other students watched it happen though. Thanks so much for the update!!! :D Author's Response: Well, nobody knew the bird would come out of the forest, it was a chance happening, but considering how terrible Umbridge was, I don't think they'd feel too bad about her death. They did try and arrest her and would have succeeded if not for the bird. No, he shouldn't, and Minerva will tell him so next chapter. As for anyone else seeing it, that too will be addressed next time! Thanks for your awesome reviews! :)
Author's Response: Well, they didn;t set out to kill her--the Stymphalian Bird just appeared and it was a surprise to everyone there. Harry only wanted the owls to harass her, he never expected the monster bird to come and make a meal of her. But such is life.
I like the complication with Ron and I can't wait to see Sev and Harry try to relate as two people (rather than just wizard and familiar). Author's Response: Yes, I agree. Umbridge was soo awful . . . as bad as Moldy Voldy in her way. I agree with the canon message, since it seems that JKR wanted to have a self-suffiecine tboy hero who can solve things that most adults would have trouble dealing with. It's sad, really, since every child should have one adult he can count on. That's why I made it so that Severus is there for Harry and to a lesser extent so are McGonagall and Hagrid. Because you're right, no child should be expected to save the world and suffer in silence. I believe that one of the main components of a hero is that you can rely on others to help you and cooperation is more important to solve problems that bravery and those solo Charge of the Valkyries. But that's me. Thank you for reading!
Author's Response: Wow that's a cool rhyme! Glad you enjoyed her death so much, I certainly enjoyed giving her what she deserved for once.
Author's Response: It was, and the picture I saw on the web was even scarier! Thanks and hope you like the next bit.
So, what type of bird is Severus? You can no longer deny it! You haven't responded to any of my reviews so I /know/ he's an animagus! C'mon, why do you have to keep me in suspense??? Update soon, darling. Author's Response: Well, eight or nine, you never know how it'll work out. What makes you think he's a bird??? Well, sweetie, if I told you . . .it'd ruin the surprise!! And we wouldn;t want that, now would we? The next one is up now, so enjoy!
Author's Response: Thanks! Claps now that the b**** is dead!
Good job with Ron's attitude and reactions. He always reacts first and then thinks later. Sometimes much, much later. Snape's apprentice, eh? Well done. He'll get some remedial help he should have gotten in first year, someone to look over his homework assignments, a reason for being with Snape as much as he not-so-secretly wants, and more importantly has an adult he can talk to and rely on. Well done, indeed. Author's Response: That's quite true, since Fudge would have done something to keep her out of Azkaban. Bad for his image . . .you know. And you know what they say . . .sometimes karma takes a hand. Ron does indeed react first and think about it later. Yes, he will, and Severus will be sure to give him the stability and guidance as well as compassion the boy needs. Thanks! |
