Reviews For Broken Wings
Author's Response: I've always seen him as a gentle perosn, one who cares deeply for people, especially those who seem lost or alone, like Snape. It always touched me that he defended Snape to Harry, Ron, & Hermione when they all thought he was evil during the Sorcerer' Stone. McGonagall is preoccupied with her duties as Deputy Headmistress and she has always seemed to allow her House to make their own decisions up to a point and yes, she should have checked up on Harry and Umbridge as well. They both needed to be watched. The cuff will be brought to someone's attention very soon. Harry has managed to keep the cuff hidden under the sleeve of his robe, which is always a little long and hangs over his hand slightly. I would think he has taken great pains to hide it and probably waits for the shower. he does scratch at it, but where no one can see, like beneath a desk. As for if it would itch more with the Stimulant Draft . .. I don't know. I never thought about it. Harry is messed up partially due to the Stimulant Draft and partly for another reason which will be known next chapter. Snape will see something very unexpected in Harry when he finally confronts him. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you, I have just updated.
a) what does the silver manacle really do? b) will he becom addicted to the potion? c) who will survive their upcoming confrontation? d) who killed Umbridge? I am looking forward to read the answers! Author's Response: Hi! Let's see if I can answer some of those questions and thanks for reading! a) the silver manacle is a very BAD item, more will be explained about it later! b) No, because Severus won't be letting him take any more of it. You can't become addicted to one dose. c) no one dies, but things do get a little . . .hot d) she WILL be dying, maybe by Sev, maybe someone else, you'll find out!
*just had to put the pep talk in* Okay, I loved the chapter! Hagrid was awesome! Poor Harry, please update soon! Author's Response: It's good one too! Thanks and I have!
I loved how you described Harry's state of mind, and how he manages to hide it. And Hagrid was great too :-) Author's Response: Thank you! I apologize, sort of for the cliffie. Now you can stop dying and start reading, LOL! I'm glad you noticed Harry' state of mind and that he knws how to hide it when necessary. Glad you enjoyed it and happy reading!
Author's Response: Thanks! The big discuaaion is posted!
Author's Response: Thanks! The next one's up!
Author's Response: No, it's not. Severus could notice the cuff that way . .. or some other way. You'll have to read the next chapter to find out! Thanks very much!
Author's Response: At the end of this chapter, yes he was more angry, though before that he was feeling very depressed and low. Severus should notice that soon! Thanks! The next one's up now!
I loved the talk with Hagrid. I never like it when authors make Snape (or any character!) *so* obstinate you need a sledgehammer to pound any scrap of sense into their skulls. Snape's smart; and Hagrid's what I call "country-wise"--he understands things without all the fancy ten-syllable words. Oh, but I *really* want Umbridge to get hers! ::growls:: ...do you have a Yahoo! Group or somesuch, where your most dedicated fans can cluster to all go *squeeee!* and sing your praises in counterpoint and argue plot points and everything? ::pleading puppy dog eyes:: Hunh? Hunh? Do ya?? Could ya?? Author's Response: Well, harry can't transform with it on, no matter how angry he is. And the cuff is really evil! Yes, Severus is trying hard to keep that temper under wraps . . .he can do it too, when he feels motivated enough. I agree about Severus and what you said. Snape is smart, he can see things differently if he has them presented a certain way, logically and with all the facts. He's stubborn, yes, but not blindly stubborn, like Ron Weasley can be at times. Yes, he does have problems with Harry comparing him to James, but once he really looks at Harry and sees him, he can admit that he was wrong and try and change. Hagrid too, he is country-wise, looking at the heart of something. Umbridge shall be getting it, don;t worry! A yahoo group . . no, but I guess i could make one, if someone would tell me how! |
