    I loved that thought at the end. He would have been safer in Azkaban. Hee he. I think he may have been. Who's angrier, Umbridge or Snape. I guess that Snape will be more humane, but still....


    Oh, I know that it's your birthday, but do you think that you could hurry and write so that we'll be put out of our worry for Harry?

    Happy birthday!
    I can't believe Aurors would allow Umbridge to arrest someone, she isn't a part of law enforcement...but, in canon, the "ministry" seems to be just one big departement and once you're part of the ministry, you can do pretty much what you want ...and it seems they don't have lawyers who protect the accused.
    I can't wait for the next chapter, now that Harry is human again. I hope Snape won't stay mad for long (maybe Hagrid can help Harry and Severus to get along)

    I'm not sure who can or can't arrest someone, it is kind of unclear in canon, but seeing as Umbridge is a power-mad, crazy, nasty witch, with the sanction of the Minister . . .she can do what she likes.  And at least in my universe, there are lawyers, but Snape didn't have time to call one! Plus, he knows Magical law himself. 

    Yes, Hagrid will be speaking to Snape (once the professor calms down that is!)

    Wonderful chappie!!! I like!! I especially like Harry's declaration that anyone wants to hurt Severus has to go through him. Hopefully Severus will remember that and realize that Harry wasn't just pretending to care for him. Happy Birthday!!!

    Author's Response: Harry has gotten so protective of "his" wizard, hasn't he? LOL! Seveerus will recall that . . .after he explodes, I'm afraid. But better late than never.  Thanks!
